Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swearing to avenge them. He trained extensively to achieve both mental and physical perfection, mastering detective skills, martial arts, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on criminals' fear and utilizing a high-tech arsenal in his crusade to rid Gotham City of crime, the legendary Batman was born.

Who can Batman NOT Beat with Prep Time?

As it says above, what characters are there that Batman simply cannot beat them, no matter how much preparation he does?
 
The only one I can think of, off the top of my head is the Phantom Stranger due to the lack of knowledge about him.

With or without plot... He can beat anyone with prep... DC has already stated this... In a comic, he would find a way. I am sure that there are characters DC would not target, just because they know people would be like PIS... but still... Phantom Stranger is a good one, but I think Bruce could get him to sabatage himself somehow.  With Prep Batman can use his Contacts correct?

The thread is flawed... Batman with Prep time could take down anyone. Because of the existance of artifacts like the cosmic cube, infinity gems, power batteries...etc. Don't think for a second that if Earth was about to be ate by Big G-man, and Batman knew way ahead of time... then if Reed can do it. Batman can. As for Doomsday, Batman borrows the Mother Box, and a Boom Tube and sends Doomsday into a black hole. Again.. with endless resources, and determination, Batman wins!!

He cant beat anyone except Magneto or Black Panther. As long as they dont have prep, that is. if they do, then so can they.

The only people that will give Batman real trouble are people that can blink him out of existance. The only one I have real confidence in is Zero Hour Parallax. Hal is known to be fearful of Batman, and would likely not put himself at risk to a Batman attack. This is a course assuming that with prep Batman could not become a Green Lantern himself, and obtain the power of Hand of God Ion to simply blink Hal out of existance.

What's the definition of "beat" here? I'm going to say Joker.  
 
Joker's goal is chaos, killing and mayhem. He's been doing this successfully for tens of years right out of Gotham. Batman can slow him down by throwing him in Arkham but he always easily escapes. Batman can't beat the Joker.  I'm adding Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman ten years ago to the list.

If batman wanted to kill joker he could of done it but when he beats joker and puts him in arkham that should count as a defeat for joker, logically if batman wanted to kill or get rid of anyway and they had no idea he was gonna  attack he would get them outside of high end cosmic beings like eternity, death or galactus. As with his resources, contacts and tech he could take out near anyone  like for wonderwoman and martain manhunter if they didnt know he was gonna attack them hed get rid of them even if its just BFR via boom tube to a place they cant survive.

@Valtot: It should but it doesn't because he knows full well Joker is busting out whenever the hell he wants. With WW and MM, Batman doesn't kill. Ever. Boom Tubing anyone someplace they won't survive is out of the question. A Boom Tube is cheap and I don't consider it a win even if it's someplace they can survive. By that logic Darkseid or any villain smart enough to get their hands on one would have killed several heroes without anyone really being able to do anything about it. It's all about how you look at it I guess.

but at least dragon will give him a run for his money ( and this is savage dragon without his past memories but just him as a cop ) 
but hey batman is unstoppable  force of nature  that cannot be beat ( even in death he strikes fear into all who oppose him )
