I always figured he officially adopted Dick, Jason and Tim. But I just read something that said he never adopted Jason. Is this true? I have also seen that he never adopted Tim as well, but I am pretty sure I read the book it happened in.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23635 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Which Robins did Bruce officially adopt?
In Gotham City Sirens #4, Hush is pretending to be Bruce Wayne. Harley asks him, "Don't you have a kid or something?", to which he replies, "Huh? Oh, yes..." "Two actually, my adopted 'son' Tim and my ward, Dick."
Does that help at all?

Well... she technically wasn't a Robin. ; P
Yeah, I know. But I feel morally obligated to remind everyone that she's a member of the Wayne family too since DC seems to have forgotten that.
Well put. I've always been pulling for her return more than Stephanie Brown's.
Don't tell anyone though, Steph's fanboys are almost as dedicated as Storm's. Lol.
He 100% definitely adopted Tim. The continuity has differed as to whether or not he adopted Dick. At one point he remained a ward, though I think with a standing offer to b adopted, but in other continuities, he was adopted. I don't know which status was more recent, though.
Cool info didnt know this :O
^
And here I was thinking he legally adopting all five of them Like a sucker
lol
Tim and Dick is his ward.
- Feel free to argue with a canon fact from Jason.
- Here's another pic.

I have forgotten about that but it's kinda Lobdell and at times he gets sloppy but I do believe it.
- The ward of Batman like Richard. I think this solves the mystery.
Nope, Dick and Tim were adopted.

Nope, Dick and Tim were adopted.
- False. Jason was the ward of Bruce just like Richard was.
- Feel free to argue with canon facts simply because they displease you.
- I think Jason and Tim would know if Jason was Bruce's ward or not better than you sir.
- False. Jason was the ward of Bruce just like Richard was.
Silly goose. As I said, Dick and Tim were adopted, and there is evidence that Jason was adopted as well. One issue had Dick being upset that Bruce adopted Jason and not him.

How about I slap you with some evidence?
Gotham Knights 17, Bruce adopts Dick
Batman 654

Apparently not.

- No, you're apparently attempting to argue against cannon facts, with utter nonsense.
- Jason saying that he and Richard were wards of Bruce in canon continuity, takes precedence over your drivel. Try again.
- Jason was Bruce's ward , get over it. Richard was Bruce's ward, get over it.
- Try again and try to "slap me with evidence" that proves that Jason wasn't Bruce's ward as you apparently can't read what Jason said and you apparently had to bring Tim into the conversation because you needed something to speak about. I'm waiting sir.

Are you mentally impaired? I showed evidence, straight from comics showing that both Dick and Tim were adopted, not just wards.
I wasn't claiming that Jason was adopted, although there are references to it. Here you go, Dick being upset that Bruce adopted Jason:
You may not like it, but pre DCnU, Dick and Tim and seemingly Jason were all adopted. Deal with it.

- I think you have the brain capacity of a fish because i've provided undeniable evidence that Jason and Richard were wards of Bruce in the New 52 which was what i was speaking about. You have yet to prove otherwise sir.
- Why would i have something wrong with them being adopted Pre New 52 when it's no longer canon and the New 52 is? Oh, that's what i thought.
- Richard and Jason are wards of Bruce. Get over it.

Wow, so you actually are an idiot. What a waste of my time.
I never disputed that they were wards in the New 52. If you had been bothered to read the thread, you would see my first post which was prior to your own, where I say that Bruce did not adopt anyone in the New 52. You seemed to be arguing that that they were not adopted pre New52.
Whatever. Another person I don't have to respond to in the future.

- An idiot that assumed i was speaking about Pre New 52, when i clearly posted new 52 scans. Surprise, surprise.
- If you had bothered to read any of my posts (if you can even read), you would have noticed that i wasn't speaking to you and that i obviously don't give a damn about what you have to say.
- You were the idiot who quoted me with drivel because you failed to read my post, and use obvious context clues. Try again.

- Yes, you apparently did try to dispute that RIchard was a ward in the New 52 sir as i was clearly speaking about the New 52 by posting a pic from the New 52.
- If you were a little more competent, maybe you could make coherent posts instead of contradicting yourself like an imbecile.
@batshrine: In the red robin comics he is called Timothy Drake Wayne a few times, while going to press conferences and handling business while Bruce was away, and when he was faking his spinal injury.
