Batman is the best atm. Scott Snyder is a truly wonderful writer. Following that would be IMO Batman and Robin as I really loved the first issue. Tony Daniel's writing is a bit bland for me so Detective Comics would be third but still it's better than Batman: The Dark Knight in that it actually comes out regularly and Finch isn't that good a writer. As to what other Bat books are good, I think Batgirl and Nightwing are the best out of the Batman Family titles.

All three are great Batman and Robin was in third place for me originally especially after Detective comics awesome opener. But now its tied with Detective for tops. I'm waiting til I read more of Batman before I can truly decide whats the best.

    1. Batman

    2. Batman & Robin

    3. Batman: The Dark Knight

    4. Detective Comics

I don't count Batwoman, Batgirl, Nightwing, or Batwing because I don't see them as Batman titles since he's not the main focus.

Batman: nice story, dark feeling, great series for new readers

Detective Story: cliche lines, exciting villains, awesome cliffhangers

Batman and Robin: the dynamic between Bruce and his son, Damian, same quality and purpose (to introduce new villains) with the previous Batman and Robin.

Batman is the best... Batman gets the character and setting right

Batman: The Dark Knight hasn't lived up to it's first arc

Detective Comics is too gory right now and not enough detecting

Batman and Robin is an interesting read simply because the writer has got the voice of the characters dead on, but none of the emotion or motivations or philosophy... So it's like reading a comic where they would never say what they are saying, but if they did they would say it just like they are...

Nightwing goes from good to bad to good to bad from issue to issue... Well it so far has and it follows the trend from it's other volumes

Birds of Prey is bland is soulless.

Batwoman is great save for Kate's treatment of Bette, the demotion of several female characters, and the trying to keep all male characters out of the book. Other than that a pretty good book.

I don't think Batman is the best one, I actually know Batman is the best title. It has the best and most accurate display of Batman's character. It has the best setting with a Gotham City that is a character in it's own. It has the best detective and yet action feel to it. It has great artwork, but each has to determine for his own which artwork is the best, I also love Tony Daniel's art and David Finch's art.

Nightwing is pretty awesome as well. I'd prefer this above Detective Comics, The Dark Knight or Batman and Robin.

Nightwing/Birds of Prey/Batman and Robin are on the same level

    Batwing

Red Hood/Detective(Red hood could have been a lot better if Starfire was'nt there)

The Dark Knight is the absolute worst,Batgirl did'nt interest me so i dropped and have'nt read Batwoman.
