@jayc1324: No way. Animated Batman went up against the likes of Clayface, Bane, and Killer Kroc. Keaton never battled anyone close to those levels of physical strength and durability.

@jayc1324: Yes, but Keaton has better gear and better body armor. One bullet dropped Bale in TDK. Keaton took multiple shots and then played opossum in batman 89. Keaton has formidable h2h feats against various Joker and Penguin thugs. Additionally, Keaton is a killer.

In my mind, Keaton beats Bale everytime.

@onemoreposter: Better gear? Bale could see through walls with his sonic lenses. He has a gliding cape, sticky bombs he can shoot from a gun, a grappling gun and much more. He is also a ninja...

And that bullet didn't stop him it just took two faces attention away so that he could sneak up and save the kid. And jokers thugs are nothing compared to ninjas and swat teams.

I'd say gear is one of the only areas where Bale is better off than Keaton, its kinda' arguable though.

• Both have a Grapple Gun (Keaton also has a line-launcher).
• Both can glide with their capes.
• Both have smoke bombs.
• Both have Batmobile's.
• Both have Batwing's.
• Both have remotes for their vehicles.
• Baleman has Bat-Darts
• Keaton has some kind of knock-out gas hidden in his cape.
• Baleman has a Bat-Beacon
• Keaton has a programmable Batarang that flies around hitting people.
• Baleman has explosives
• Keaton has a bolo-launcher

• Baleman has his sonar eyes during The Dark Knight (destroyed afterwards)
• Baleman has the Pneumatic Mangler when using his Nomex suit.

They're both killers, only difference is that one of them kills with a smile on his face

People seem to be forgetting that Bale was pretty handy in Batman Begins. Towards beginning of movie beat up something like 7 blokes in that Chinese/Nepalise prison camp...Keaton's Batman did seem a bit meaner however....

Where did he learn how to fight like that again? I know that scene was before he met Ra's
