When Scott Snyder's Batman run ends, and DC makes a new flagship Batman title, which artist would you want on the book? I personally would want Alex Maleev doing art for a Batman flagship. His gritty style he has used for Daredevil perfectly suits Batman IMO.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Which Artist Would You Want for a Batman Flagship Title?
I NEVER WANT SCOTT SNYDER'S RUN TO END. EVEN WHEN HE DIES. HE MUST WRITE BATMAN IN THE AFTERLIFE AND SEND IT TO US.
I find the current batch of artists perfect,Gleason,Capullo,Fabok,Maleev and Burnham are all awesome.
@wolverine08: ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!
DIE!!! DIE FOR SNYDER!!! *strangles Wolverine08 to death*

Agreed.
Dustin Nguyen would be nice.
@wolverine08: How about Jim Lee on Batman?
Oh, Jim draws an awesome Batman (Arguably the best)! *Gives Respect*. I just think Maleev's gritty art style fits Batman so perfectly.
Tony Daniels.
David Finch as long his inked properly is one of the all timers IMO.
@toplel: Agreed, Capullo and Albuquerque's style works well with Snyder's story telling.

Yeah Maleev's style is perfect for Batman but it needs a different writer to match his style IMO.
Tony Daniel. His art is very gritty and dark, perfect for Batman. Now that I think about it he's probably my favorite artist.
Capullo is a dream come true. He was excellent during his tenure on spawn. Ivan Reis draws really pretty. Doug mahnke was a really good bat artist during under the red hood series.
Jim lee draws well. His characters tend to pose to much, his panels aren't dynamic enough. He draws his people too stiff, with way too much cross hatching. But he is still one of the all time greats.
I wanna see frank cho or Humberto Ramos on batman. His work improved greatly while drawing spidey.
Nguyen, or Maleev would be cool. I think there are a lot of artists that could pull off a good Batman run.
Eduardo Risso and Brian Azzarello would be awesome on a regular Batman book, Broken City was cool but I think they'd be better with a longer run.
Please no Jim Lee.
WITHOUT A DOUBT ANDREA SORRENTINO!!!!!!!!!! He does very dark artwork thatd be great for batman, an if not him maybe john cassaday or jh williams III

How did I forget about him? Yeah Sorrentino would be awesome, Lee Bermejo would be cool too.
A Batman Drawn by Alex Maleev would be amaaazzzziinnnnggg.... but for me, i'd like Butch Guice's art on someone as dark as Batman, or even Steve Epting =D
For a change of pace, I'd really like to see Sean Gordon Murphy on Batman. He's done some great commissions, sketches, and such of him.
@rustyroy: The one with Batman on the fire escape, when I first looked at it I thought it said "WAAAAAA!!!!! I'M THE BATMAN"
@ninjablade09: Rocafort is great, but I think he'll draw a more armored type Batman better.
@rustyroy: I think that's why I like his New 52 Batman a lot, fits the whole armor look that every one has. Though I do think his non armored Batman is good as well.
id be down with maleev. I would say jim lee but he would only do an arc so why tease myself? in an absolutely perfect world id pick Mike Deodato jr.
