Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Years back, we were mostly in agreement that Batman can defeat Iron Man, Hulk, and many of the Marvel heroes with sufficient prep.
But nowadays, everyone who say that Batman can defeat even Captain America gets called a fanboy, and yet in many feats we see that Batman's maximum prepping would allow him to defeat opponents on the class of Darkseid and Thanos.
Batman nowadays is involved in only street level battles, and even then many users tend to go against him and downplay Batman.
I know right? We need to revert back to the days when people think Batman can solo Galactus,Silver Surfer,etc!! Wait, we never were at those days? Well we need to give Batman the respect he deserves and spread the notion that he can!
I mean, Batman is AT LEAST as strong as Spiderman, AT LEAST as fast as Kid Flash, and AT LEAST (at the bare MINIMUM) as smart as Reed Richards.
But people think that Midnighter can beat him. Pft! The Batman hate is strong and real. I hate how he gets no respect on this site......
Well even when I would argue forever and let Batman win its a fact he's just human.
People who say Batman can beat Superman, Flash, Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter are downright stupid. Sure you like the character but what are you gonna do ?
Shoot a kryptonian bullet ? As if Supes can't dodge that. Shoot a vibranium bullet ? Flash can circle around the world, eat 2 tacos, break your spine, give Iris a kiss before Bats can shoot the Flash. Gonna spray Scarecrow's scare venom at GL ? Goodluck getting close to him when he can crush you to a molecule while staying in air and throwing houses, jets, tanks and even rockets at you. Maritan Manhunter, okay I give it to Bats here. He could probably take down MM with some prep but if he fails his first try then MM will quite simply snap him. Shazam ? Sure he's idiotic but even he knows when he's getting his ass handed to him and when he needs to get serious. Good match but Shazam wins in the end.

Super Strength: He Can Lift 100 Tons.
Super Durability: He has tougher skin, bones and muscles, for the fact he lives underwater, he can survive being shot, extreme temperatures, ocean pressure and explosions.
Being shot barely hurts him.
Super Speed and Super Reflexes: He is the fastest guy underwater and yes he can dodge gunfire.
Expert Combatant.
Natural leader with an advance sense of strategy.
Trident of Neptune: Indestructible magic weapon that give him Hydrokinesis: The control of water with his mind, force fields and energy blasts.
Aquaman isnt just an strong guy outside the water, also Superman would never kill Batman, Aquaman would kill him if he has to.
I say that only because Batman has a fool proof plan for the entire Justice League and its only Aquaman's I can't find a way to get around. And let's not all hate on Brucey now. Bruce is intellectually far smarter than Aquaman I know its PIS but Batman has dodged gunfire at a very close range. Sure he can't take a few bullets unlike Aquaman but still. Weaponary wise Aquaman excels due to his trident which surpasses any equipment the Bat can pull out. The part about durability isn't really necessary (not being rude =] ) because I doubt either one of them wants to fight at the edge of a volcano or in a space ship, still once again Aquaman wins. :D
Strength wise he is better by far which is why I said, he's a strong guy :P Aquaman is cold blooded (no puns intended) and would kill if it became an absolute must but then the fight would be pretty much one sided. One gigantic tank trying to kill a mouse whose trying to knock the tank out of conciousness.. Only reason I gave Bruce the win was because of his plans. Prove em wrong and I'll side with you. I can't find a way around it :(
