I always imagine Conroy's voice in a Batman story, a few times Bale. But, I tried imagining Conroy for DKR and it didn't work. Conroy just wasn't good for an old Batman, hence why they didn't use him twice. So, instead of Conroy for this specific story, I imagined Lance Henrisken. It just fitted for an older Batman.

Personally, I always read Batman as very firm, steady, and somewhat deep but never the ridiculous growl of Nolan's Batman. I suppose for the older Batman, it would be the same thing only with a withered quality.

I can see Kiefer...if a bit more gravely than his usually voice.
