    @batzilla: If Supes fights an opponent with similar abilities/physicals as him (Zod, Ulysses, etc.), having technique on his side will help.

    lol yeah seems pretty pointless for superman

    Because superpowers are not always going to cut it, especially if he gets temporarily de-powered or goes up against someone his strength class that is a martial arts master.

    Exactly. There have been times he's fought Ultraman and Zod and his martial arts knowledge has given him the upper hand.
