What is the most expensive thing Batman owns?

#1 Posted by Tohoma (1439 posts) - - Show Bio

The title says it all. By the way does Batman own the watchtower?

#2 Posted by gotwillpower (679 posts) - - Show Bio

Can you say the Watchtower? It's kind of like a collection of expensive things. Could I say the Batcave? Cause that would kind of combine the Batmobile, Batplane, Batboat, etc. I think you should ask for the most expensive single item, like the Batcomputer or a painting in the mansion or something.

Wayne Enterprises.

The contract to Robin's life. I'd say the contract to his own life, but we all know Alfred owns that...

#5 Posted by SuperSlayin (67 posts) - - Show Bio

Alfred. Do you know how much a standard salary increase adds up to over 70 years?

#6 Posted by evilvegeta74 (4530 posts) - - Show Bio

I'd say the watch tower!

I wouldn't be surprised if batman owns a chunk of kryptonite the size of new jersey.

30,000$ haircut.

#11 Posted by FatihBATMAN (1389 posts) - - Show Bio

Wayne Enterprises

being batman is the most expensive , gadgets, costumes(proteges included), vehicles , the batcave, his computer, not to mention bandages and first aid stuff he must go through in a week, or when bruce is too beat up to go to a board meeting and says he broke his leg in a "skiing mishap" instead of "i was fighting off 40 or so ninjas and i kinda fell 2-3 stories " he has to pay somebody off to say he was at some lodge .

I couldn't find the exact issue but in one of the stories where Damien is first brought in as Robin we see Batman use a literal spaceship. He even makes a comment along the lines of, "yeah, I got a spaceship". I would guess that would be the single most expensive item.

He has his own company that wins billions every year.

So WAYNE ENTERPRISES.

@SuperSlayin:Man...that was my line!!!! I got in with a big smile saying to myself "you'll write something interesting, at last"! :p (just kidding of course)

If you take out the pieces of real estate and businesses (Batcave, Wayne Manor, Wane Tower, and even the watchtower...if he owns that, I have no idea), I would imagine the single most expensive object would be his aircraft. The Batplane normally, but if he does, in fact, have a space craft/rocket, that would clearly be it.

Good point.

I wonder if it's ever been explained where and when he got these items.

Ashamed to say I have no idea...

It's kind of the charm to them though! Gives the impression he has a life between the panels (besides all the weightlifting and combat training).

@Manbehindthewires:I suppose it kinda adds to his mysteriousness.

He didn't. I don't know why some people here think he owns the Watchtower, but he doesn't.

The giant coin comes from a fight he had with a z-list villain named the Penny Plunderer.

The robot T-Rex comes from an adventure he had in Dinosaur Island.

Batman and Son by Grant Morrison*

I agree it must have cost stacks

He actually did have a spaceship that he left to the Outsiders (Which the Creeper promptly crashed)

nice to know! didnt know that!

Dinosaur land, does he travel to another time dimension or?

@Saucedo17: Common misconception based on an episode of BTAS, but no, it's not from Two-Face. Never understood why people think this, Two-Face uses a silver dollar, not a penny.

Nah, it was an amusement park, although there are stories were it's an island with real dinosaurs.
