Batman

Character » Batman appears in 9897 issues.

Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swearing to avenge them. He trained extensively to achieve both mental and physical perfection, mastering detective skills, martial arts, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on criminals' fear and utilizing a high-tech arsenal in his crusade to rid Gotham City of crime, the legendary Batman was born.

What if Batman grew up in the DBZ world?

Dragon Ball Z doesn't exactly follow real world physics. A human can do a few pushups a day and then suddenly blow up planets.

If Batman existed in this world, how powerful do you think he'd get?

After his parents died, I think he might go out and seek training from somebody like Master Roshi. Then he can follow that till he gets strong enough to move on, then who knows maybe he'll climb Korin tower and get trained by Korin, and maybe even Kami eventually.

How powerful do you think he'd be?

he'd beat goku

He's still a human. No more powerful than Krillin (who is severely underrated) or Tien. The humans only jumped in power in preperation to face a specific threat, even then they became less useful when compared to the aliens. If he trained to prepare himself to fight criminals in the DBZverse, he'd peak at Dragon Ball era levels before being horredously murdered by King Piccolo.

@KnightRise:

Don't think so DBZ logic is very different. Remember Krillin made a destructo disk that cut Frieza's tale. I mean Humans can do just about everything in DBZ, so Batman can become very powerful. He won't be too much stronger than Tien though

He'd basically be Krillin

He'd be stronger than Krillin, Krillin slacks off in his training all the time. Bruce is dedicated. He'd be Tien or a bit beyond. Still no match for any of the aliens though.

He'd have one thing everyone else does not... intelligence

problems will be solved faster and they will use dragon balls less

he can probably whip up androids to patrol earth and namek

He would definitely become the most powerful human (even beyond Tien) his physical limitations would be quite similar to the DC Universe, however. There is no way that he could become more powerful than the aliens (Goku, Vegeta, or even Piccolo). That is not to say he would make no difference, as his tactical planning is priceless. DBZ did tend to honor 1v1 though, so that may not be such a factor

He would have been one of the bystanders blown up in one of the Sagas...

I think Mr. Satan could beat him.

You mean being physically overpowered by his peers, and having to survive off his wits and training?

Nah, couldn't happen. :P

He wouldn't surpass Tien. Tien got the chance to train with guys like Kami and King Kai, something Batman isn't afforded.

Even if he was invited to train with Kami, he'd probably decline. Batman doesn't train to get stronger, he trains so he can save people, so he wouldn't want to waste time with Kami if he was already good enough to patrol Gotham. Nevermind King Kai, whom he'd have to die just to meet.

He would be around other martial artist champions level, like Mr.Satan, or if he could learn to use ki, Mutaito-sama or Roshi. Krillin and Tien isn't even an average looking guys(no nose, three eye), they got that strong only for the plots.

Nothing. It be like he had like 6 Superman-Level aliens around.

Equal to Tenshinhan, who I think was a little stronger than Kuririn, who was equal to Freeza at the end of Z.
