I assume they'll have a higher quality version on the official movie site, soon, unless they're gonna wait until SDCC to show it.
@The Dark Huntress: I assume they'll have a higher quality version on the official movie site, soon, unless they're gonna wait until SDCC to show it.It'll be on Monday.
Yes, that was pretty cool, just like on the teaser poster. And I also loved how as we got closer and closer to the crumbling building, we got the "Bane! Bane! Matalo, matalo!" chant.
Did you notice the Dark Knight Returns references? It seems Batman has to come out of a seeming retirement to battle a huge, strong foe in charge of a legion of foes; only instead of the Mutant Leader, it's Bane he must come back to fight, who is charge of the League of Shadows.
And your theory on the mask would probably fit in more with Nolan's Batman approach.

And your theory on the mask would probably fit in more with Nolan's Batman approach. It's possible that Bane actually does "break the Bat" in the movie and this forces Bruce to give up, only for Gotham to fall into utter chaos and maybe after seeing Gordan like we saw in the trailer, Bruce must go against the odds and push himself to return in order to defeat Bane and save the day. If the movie's anywhere as long as The Dark Knight was, I don't see any problem putting all of that in there xD
I love how Batman backs off near the end of the clip. It's time for Bruce Wayne to finally face a true physical challenge. I think it's clear that this film will have some Knightfall elements to it.I totally agree with everything you said here; this has Knightfall written all over it. I love the idea of Bane inhaling the venom, very keen prediction.
@The Hobgoblin said:Yeah, I'm not sure what that thing on Bane's face is for.I think that Bane will inhale an aerosolized form of Venom through the tubes in his mask, as opposed to having a liquid drug injected into his brain.
I love the idea of Bane inhaling the venom, very keen prediction.Maybe instead of strength enhancing the Venom works similar to Scarecrow's fear gas, but instead of causing fear it makes the user experience a feeling of invincibility and decreases the users ability to feel pain.
That would definitely fit in more with Nolan's real world approach to the franchise.

From what I saw in the trailer it seems that Gordon knows who Batman is and at the end of the teaser when Batman fights Bane; is that Arkham? Because there is a guy in a uniform in the backround.
I hypothesize that the film version of Venom will have its roots in the blue flower from the first film. The real question here is how Hardy will portray Bane. Will Bane resemble his the brutal, tactical genius of his debut, or will he merely be the taciturn champion of the League of Shadows? How will he sound, British or Latino? Heath Ledger blew expectations out of the water with his choice of voice for Joker, that '30s Cagneyesque growl, while Hardy has never been renowned for his vocal work. Oh, and how can a 5'9 powerhouse, even his with massive body, intimidate a 6'1 Batman?
