    This has started a while back around the 2000s (or 1995)

    I agree....this is a golden age for Batman. I read an article recently which made the correct point that Batman sells loads more comics than Spiderman now and has got to the be the most popular Superhero out there. We've had the brilliant Nolan films which will be respected more in ten years time than now, when people tire of the cheeky irreverent Guardians of Galaxy type stuff and consistently top Batman comics from a great writer and artist.

    Enjoy the good times whilst they last...

    Yep. This is definitely Batman's golden age. He has the best movies, some of the best and most consistent comics, best video games, and he's going to be featured in one of the biggest movies of all time. Maybe in current movies Iron Man is more popular, but overall, Batman is at the top.

    @comicsrulebutdbzdoes2:

    er no...if you add up the comic sales of all the Batman titles and compare them to Spiderman sales, Batman is miles ahead usually, although admittedly in November thanks to Spiderverse the gap did close a bit. Agree that Spiderman merchandise sells well. Its still a golden age for Batman however!

    I'm not certain about this. Batman is really good right now, but he always is. Although to be fair, it's only now we have the glorious haz-bat suit.

    Eh, he's definitely at the height of his popularity, but in general his best years where before 2000, IMO. That being said, in the modern age he's had some great comics but they're not the ones that come to mind when I think "Batman".
