I can theorized that Bruce Wayne probably got to Gotham by neither getting him self in plane to Gotham or boat to get to Gotham. Or probably a helicopter was waiting for Bruce Wayne.

The Dark Knight Trilogy isn't based in reality. It being realistic and being based in reality aren't the same thing. It is realistic, but it's not based in reality.

The most unrealistic thing was Joker calling Rachel "beautiful" .

In Batman begins the fact that Bruce Wayne wouldn't execute the criminal but instead blows up the league of assassins hideout and kills the Ra's Am Ghul imposters along with many others in the process

@cuddlebear: Actually, its because Joker was standing behind a heavy steel cabinet which shielded him from the blast. Everyone else was in the blast line.
