I can theorized that Bruce Wayne probably got to Gotham by neither getting him self in plane to Gotham or boat to get to Gotham. Or probably a helicopter was waiting for Bruce Wayne.
The Dark Knight Trilogy isn't based in reality. It being realistic and being based in reality aren't the same thing. It is realistic, but it's not based in reality.
