The JOKER mishandled in new 52. First let me get out of the way that I think the Joker has been overused at times in the past and that making huge events around him has always rubbed me the wrong way. I find that writers have to dumb down everyone around him to make him look formidable, unbeatable. And really I HATE an unbeatable Joker. That should not be his aura. Dangerous, maniacal, chaotic... Yes. But to see Gordon tremble at the mention of Joker's name... please, that is ridiculous. Now moving on... Scott Snyder went all crazy with a Joker story that in the end it was terribly anti climatic and aside from that he took Joker out of the picture and for those reasons we are missing out on the Joker in events like FE Arkham War or even FE. not that I want him to hog the spotlight again but the a Joker is best portrayed when he interacts with others. My question to you is: is he better off gone or being part of the new 52 more often?

Wasn't a fan of his handling either. The less of Joker we get the more special it is when he does appear and is written well.

The way I see it, Joker's personality and manneruisms were perfect. However, the execution of the character in the story was poor.

I couldn't care less how often the Joker is used, so long as the stories he appears in are interesting.

That being said, I agree about hating an "unbeatable" Joker. Formidable, sure. But I hate when he is given near superhuman abilities.

@blackdog2009: The story has nothing to do with how well or not the Joker was handeled.....Joker's character, and dialog was excellent. The 'story' is another.....story!

And having an unstable Joker,is part of his characterization.....it's not a mistake.

Wasn't a fan of his handling either. The less of Joker we get the more special it is when he does appear and is written well.
