they're both Batman movies, that's enough of a reason to compare them already :p

You can't really compare them. Anyway, TDK's a better movie. Under the Red Hood is very good too.

The Dark Knight without a doubt. I don't even think Under the Red Hood is the best animated Batfilm.

Yeah but Under the Red Hood is like 1 hr and 30 mins while TDK is like 2 hr and 30 mins. Plus in animation it is easier to do stunts and things like that than it is in a live action movie. I like them both but I can't really compare them. :/

You can't compare the two. One movie was direct to dvd and barely goes above an hour, and the other made over a billion dollars at the box office and is over two and a half hours long. They both are good movies, but The Dark Knight is on a whole different level.

A more accurate analogy would be, "It's like comparing apples to apple pie." Still, it's an unfair (and kind of silly) comparison to make. There is literally no way of comparing the two films objectively. I think the phrasing you were *actually* looking for was, "Which movie did you enjoy more." (@the OP)

TDK,UTRH gets vastly exaggerated on the vine. Mask of the Phantasm,The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 & 2,Return of the Joker are all better movies. I'd definitely put UTRH among the great Batman animated efforts, above the likes of Sub Zero,Mystery,Dracula and the other DCU Batman movies. But the obviousness of the mystery, the dumbass climax, the fact it's not an original story and lack of resolution from ANY party are huge flaws. I know someone will say "but TDKR is also not original" yeah but it's a classic and is regarded as the best Batman story. UTRH is certainly not.

Under the red Hood. Hands.Down. I don't even care that Conroy and Hammil didn't do the voices, there was great feel with pretty much all the voice actors. They even kept in some of the humor; maybe not the same humor as the original comic, but still good.

Subzero was awesome though, I can't believe you don't put on par with those other movies

The Dark Knight had a better plot by far but UTRH had better action.

    Under The Red Hood

    Awesome action

    awesome plot

    Awesome Villains

    Awesome Todd

Introduction and only movie of my favorite Bat character: Jason Todd

And to all those saying you can't compare animated with live-action, you are wrong, you can compare everything with anything no matter what...We just want your opinion on which you enjoyed more...

TDK. But the best Batman movie is Mast of the Phantasm in my opinion and I also like Batman Begins more than TDK.
