Can anyone please point out to me the best battles/fights/confrontations that batman has had with:

-The Joker

-The Scarecrow

-The Penguin

-Two-Face

-The Riddler

-Firefly (the pyromaniac, not the fabulous one)

For joker i'd say the "killing joke" or the "man who laughs". Two face's would be in "dark victory" or "face the face". For Scarecrow i love the fight they have in "haunted knight". There's another one where crane is turned into a big scarecrow monster by his lab assistant that had some pretty cool action, but i can't remember what it was called. Can't speak too confidently about the others. Just my opinions, hope they help

Keep in mind most are battled in wits, ferocity, and weapons, as neither you mentioned, other than Bats, are natural hand-to-hand fighters or physical threats:

Joker: Batman (volume 1) 1, 5, 294, 321, 680, Detective Comics (Volume 1) 476, Detective Comics (Volume 2) 1

Penguin: Batman (volume 1) 548-549, Detective Comics (Volume 2) 7

Riddler : Batman (volume 1) 490 ( BUT, only when pumped with VENOM, doesn't look so pretty)

Two-Face: Batman (volume 1) 410-411 was a fun one

Scarecrow: Detective Comics (volume 1) 503, Batman Annual (volume 1) 19

Firefly: Detective Comics (volume 1) 689-690

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Hardly a battle, overrated "Death in Family", Batman catches up to Joker's helicopter, Joker gets shot at accidentally by own men, Batman gets out as helicopter crashes.
