Personally, I would enjoy seeing this. If Secret Six wasn't canceled it would be a different story, but with that gone a new Bane would be cool. Has he appeared in the New 52 yet? If not, would you guys like to see a Nolan style Bane?
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Should Nolan's Bane be the Bane for the New 52?
Bane has appeared, and he's the same comic book Bane he's been for years.
Maybe he should borrow cosmetic elements from Nolan's Bane, but he shouldn't be Nolan's Bane. Make another villain for that.

Never! Nothing from Nolan should be in comics!
Yea the Nolanverse needs to be kept separate from comics. Don't get me wrong, Nolan's Batman was incredible!!
I don't think he should be the exact same as Nolan's version, but I think it would be cool if you took some of his characteristics from his version. I really like Bane, top 3 favorite bat-villains, but I never really like the overly hulking depiction of him like he was in Arkham City.

And yet his depiction of the Joker,Catwoman and Bane has been miles better than the treatment they've been getting in the comics, yeah I'll take Nolan Bane( O'Neils Bane meets Simone's Bane with some of Dixon's Bane) any day over current Nu52 Bane,Arkham Bane or cartoon Bane.
To answer the OP's question,I would like if they incorporated some aspects such as the costume, make Bane more streamlined instead of bulky and his personality(which is the perfect combination of the best Bane writers).@Stormbox said:

I hope someone gets rid of this crap eventually
Bane was easily the weakest part of the arkham games when it comes to villains
Agreed.

Nah, this was a new version of venom which made him bigger, faster, stronger and allegedly smarter. I say allegedly because he made the claim but didn't do a whole lot to back it up. This version of Bane has the Pre-52 Bane physically outclassed but he lacks any technique. He's essentially a powerhouse now.
Not a carbon copy, but if they take certain characteristics from the movie for the character, i think it could work very well. It's at least better then just the powerhouse version we have right now.
I wasn't too big a fan of Nolan's Bane to be honest but at least he looks more like just a force to be reckoned with rather than some guy on roids. Bane just needs to stop OD'ing on that Venom. In the Arkham games he was supposedly 5'6 when off of the venom and 9'2 while on it! He also gains 200 pounds of muscle. It's like, lolwat?

want a more realistic one ?
Realistic/grimdark does not always mean better, I like the bane as secret six with a personality
So how did that, not split Batman in half this time? I have a very hard time believing, with all that juice in Bane that it would just simply break Batman's back...more like completely disintergrate his spine.Bane has already appeared, he looks more like the Arkham Bane
I personally dont like it
comics and animated series bane never hulked up to like 7 foot. He was also a brill tactician and leader in knightfall. It's only over the past few years that he's gone stupidly hulk from venom. He's always been about 6'6 and menacing, venom just made him stronger and a tiny bit bigger. Arkham games, the batman and then Batman:the brave and the bold had bane as some 5'6 guy who goes hulk through venom. Don't know why because it's stupid. As for the cross over of nolan's bane into the comics, the only thing that would really be crossing over is the appearance. If he went back to his true form, there's nothing really to cross over.
i definitely think aspects from Nolan's Bane would be a nice addition to his character, but for the most part he needs to be who he is from the comics. Someone said it, not everything from the movies should be put in the comics, unless they are incredibly popular which is curious as to how the hell was the Catwoman origin now the one from the Burton or Halle Berry movies. I think this giant bulk brooding pile of muscle doesnt stay. I love the Arkham games but Bane was overdramatically used and I think the comics would serve better with a more practical Bane. Mix it with TDKR (at least a little bit) and Knightfall and Secret Six
No. I believe Hardy's Bane worked for the Nolan universe, but he would feel out of place in the New 52. They can re-imagine him, but if they go Nolan's route he would be a completely different character, and they would also have to change Talia's back story.
i wouldn't mind maybe a mixture of old and movie versions but the movie version would be too easy for other heroes to deal with and therefore not the imposing.
hmm....he will need more mucsles, imo there was too much "fat" on the guy who plahed him, dont remember his damn name now :< bane needs to be more ripped
