As his new permanent suit?
To keep the bat-motif he could add pointy ears, a cape, and a bat insignia to the insider suit.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Should Batman Keep The Insider Suit...
It seemed like it was starting to short out at the end of the Road Home series, but that may have just been from the damage it was taking, we shall have to wait and see I suppose.
I hope not. He does not feel like Batman with it, sure he has his bat gadgets but the suit is just going too far.
I think he should keep the teleporter, to teleport things to him. When people trash Batman they say he sucks without prep. If he could teleport anything in the cave into his belt, BANG.
I imagine once Bruce Wayne's return to the DC Universe is made public within the fiction then he'll reduce the 'Insider' suit to a special cabinet in his collection and it'll likely only make appearances during key moments in the books. I would expect Bruce to go back to his regular cape & cowl costume and live up to his name as the detective rather than rely on the newer power suit.
Interesting thing though was in the Road Home issue for Red Robin we hear Tim mention, through internal monologue, his fancy new suit is still being worked on by Cyborg. So perhaps we'll see at least one of the Bat-Family rocking a 'tech / utility' suit beyond kevlar and capes.
He should either give it away to someone that could really put it to good use. Maybe some new "batman" from Batman Inc. OR. Remodel it give it a more batman feel. OR use it on special occassions. But something tells me we will be seeing the insider a bit more.
He definately should lose the suit it is to powerful for him it wrecks what he is. They are turning him from a rich, determined, martial artist with some cool gadgets into iron man.
He should keep it for certain situations, like fighting against amazo or some Justice Leaguer that is mind controled or something.
When I was reading the Road Home I remember thinking that the suit was so powerful, why wouldn't he just use it all the time but then I figured he already has a cave full of armour and varient suits right?
Most of which are technically superior to the regular suit, but he doesn't use them unless he needs one for a specific task.
The insider suit is the same, he just shelves it because Bruce, despite his own claims to the contrary, likes to take the hard road.
He likes to do it the hard way because that makes him stronger.
He's also very aware of the mythic aspects of his appearance and also the respect metas give him because he doesn't use over the top tech even though he could.
Just a man, in a costume with a tool belt... and even Superman balks at the thought of fighting him.
Knowing him, he'd feel the suit would make him soft, lazy, dependent.
I bet at some point some artist will show us the Insider suit in a glass case in the cave as a little easter egg.
