Personally, I'd say leave. I'm not the biggest fan of his Batman stuff and it honestly sounds like his work on other characters is much better.

Ehhh, I'm indifferent whether he stays or not but I voted for him to leave just because I knew it'd be losing.

while his run isnt bad its not great. he basically writes stories ive already read and while his stories start off great they end pretty anti climatically. he also doesnt keep batman in character enough. hes to gadget reliant and cmon how can batman do the entire plane fight from court of owls

Idk i said stay bcuz even tho i dont mind zero year i thinks way too long an id rather see him write a modern batman story maybe with scarecrow or two face. So after zero yr il decide if he should stay or go

Stay. I think he's got great ideas, he just needs to develop them better. I'm hoping he improves as he continues to write and get more experience in the medium.

This for me. He needs to focus on Superman Unchained, American Vampire (not that I like it but apparently it's really good) and another DC/Vertigo title.

I'd opt him to stay...but if I had it my way, I'd want him to leave the Batman title and return to Swamp Thing

I voted leave, but that's a very tentative vote, just because I think that if he were to leave, its likely that someone worse would take over. Snyder's run isn't breaking any new ground and it has a plethora of flaws to it, but its still readable and occasionally enjoyable... and with the current state of DC, that's unfortunately all we can ask for.

Leave, but only if they can replace him with someone decent. Court of Owls = Mediocre, Death of the Family = terrible.

I honestly don't understand the amount of hatred towards Snyder's Batman run on this site. Is it the greatest thing ever? No but it's still a pretty good book imo

I vote leave. As I have stated before enjoyable but nothing special. Death of the Family was terrible, his Batman work is slightly better than mediocre Cappullo's art really helps raise the quality of the book. Three issues in I like his Superman work far better but we will see if he is able to build that into something good, his swing for the fences approach seems to suit Superman better. I would like to see Azzarello and Sorrentino take over Batman in the future.

But I'm only judging from his Court of Owls arc seeing as I dropped the title soon after that (read a bit of Death of the Family but not much) and I didn't drop the title because of him, it's just I'm not a HUGE Batman fan and wanted to take up other titles but I found his writing enjoyable and he hasn't let me down on that opinion yet in Superman Unchained. But like I said before, I'm basing my opinion on one (and a half) Batman story arcs.

I'd LOVE to see a Martian Manhunter solo series written by Snyder (even a Martian Manhunter solo series by itself), it would get an instant spot on my pull list.

No matter how good of a writer you are you dont write him an origin, then try to make it cannon there by destroying all the other attempts and one of the key concepts of the Joker

Leave i liked court of owls besides for the owl eating the bat that inspired bruce kind of bugged me and i death in the family like the rest of snyders work was interesting but it dosnt really have any substance and finally for what he did to the charater of Mr Freeze

Leave.His early Batman work was bearable but after Court of Owls things just got worse and worse.I still can't say that I hate his work but it is not good and I want to see good Batman stories.

To be honest, if they do release a Martian Manhunter title with Snyder writing then I would imagine they'd put at minimum a decent artist on the title. Ivan Reis is not a bad shout. You're pushing me into wishful thinking and false hope over a Martian Manhunter solo title ever existing in the new 52, stop it! D':

I hope he stays, I've read previous Batman storylines before the New 52, but Snyder's Batman was really my offical introduction to The Dark Knight (in comics at least). I've loved his run so far and are enjoying his retelling of Batman's early days, I hope he continues to write Batman for years to come.

He's one of the few guy's that started the New 52 so it doesn't make sense for him to leave. He's doing a good job in the Batman series but could do a little adjusting with his formula of story telling a bit.

I totally hope he stays for a really really long time. But even if he did leave, he'd surely move on to other great things... but he shouldn't do it yet... for a long time... ever. If it isn't clear, I voted stay, I'm kind of a big fan of his Batman work.

I'm totally in the same area as you! I really want a Martian Manhunter ongoing! And I think if Snyder can get Jim Lee on board for Superman Unchained, I think he can a great artist like Ivan Reis.

But he'd be perfect for Martian Manhunter, who's like a cross between Batman and Superman lol.

I thought Zero years first arc was pretty good but i think the 2nd will be alot better since riddler is my fav batman villain

For a minute I read it as Zack Snyder and voted stay. In reality I couldnt care less.

Stay. I've liked his work on Batman since the Black Mirror and he writes Batman stories that are to my personal taste. I also really like his Superman: Unchained.

To be honest I like Batman and I like Snyder so I'd like him to stay but with Booch and Manapul taking over Detective Comics soon I'd be okay with him moving on to something else.

Let's face reality though guys - even if you don't like him, he's considered one of DC's top talents right now and his books are consistently top sellers. So he's not going anywhere unless he wants to leave. Which won't be for a while.
