Dang sucks to know he's leaving but I understand why. Good luck to him on whatever his next project is. Would be cool if we Jock as a replacement. Wonder what the next Snyder/Capullo project at DC will be.

I'm hoping for Sean Gordon Murphy to fill in for a few issues, if he's not too busy of course. I'm really hoping Greg comes back to Batman, but I'm excited to see what he's got coming with Mark Millar (was that Kick-Ass reference just a joke or a tease!?)

Is it just me or did Scott seem to have a different demeanor in this interview? Usually he's upbeat, energitic and all about the hype but he seem really subdued here. Could be any number of reasons, I guess. Or I may be crazy.

Sad to see Capullo go. I've always looked at Snyder and Capullo as "The Dynamic Duo".

That was my understanding too, Capullo will be back, he's just taking maybe one arc off to work with Millar

Come ON! DC try everything to keep this team together, back that dump truck of money for these guys. It's selfish but I think this team still a plenty of great stories left to tell.

Hm...another project at DC? I'd love to see these guys take on a character like Swamp Thing or Animal Man.

I totally get Capullo's reason for taking a break from Batman for a little bit. But it sounds like they have other things planned for Batman together after issue 51 and long afterwards. So it seems like even with Capullo taking a break to work with Mark Millar, he'll be back and they have some great stuff planned for Batman. Cannot wait! These guys are doing great work with Batman (even though I'm not the biggest fan of robo-bat-Gordon), and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

I'm guessing it will either be Sean Murphy or Jock filling in for Capullo while he's away.

to see something these two could independently create would be really .... or a good Logan story

Hella sad to see Capullo leave but I totally get it. Definitely looking forward to see what he's got in the pipeline and who's gonna be coming on to draw Batman so it should be interesting!

I really hope that Snyder is going to finish the story he and Sean Gordon Murphy in Detective 27. He planned the seeds in Superheavy and the Future's End tie-in..

I loved chemistry between them.
Capullo is one of my favourite comic artists so I can't wait to see what his new work will be.

I really hope Scott and He team up again on Batman, actually it doesn't matter on what, I just want to see them team up again so it is great they confirmed that. :D

Would love to see Murphy and/or Alburqerque take over for these handful of issues whilst Capullo is gone, but knowing DC they'll fuck it up somehow and not get em.

Also when they're both done with their run on Batman i hope they actually end up doing a run on the main Wonder Woman title. I mean they've both hinted at it several times before just would be cool if it came to fruition. Hell that title needs a new team asap, cause Finch is shitting the bed rn especially after Azz's incredible run

While they were both being hush hush, i think its safe to say Bruce will take back the mantle once again.

As far as capullo leaving that sucks.. at least its not a permanent thing.
