    What of the new 52 detective comics is worth reading. I heard that the 2 first volumes are bad, is it anything more I should know?

    The large majority of it is mediocre.

    HOWEVER. Buccellato/Manapul saved it. Their run is awesome.

    Start issue 30 and enjoy. You won't regret it

    Its not bad, its just nothing amazing. They're fun batman comics though. Like he said above, it gets much better at issue 30. The story still isn't amazing but the art is and I feel like its going to just get better.

    I actually liked the first 2 volumes, I own volume 2,3 and 4 in hardcover, and I own 25-34 in print. It's worth reading if you've read all the main Scott Snyder stuff already.
