..I'm after a Grant Morrison TP to add to my Bat collection. Can someone recommend one please. I am not a huge fan of Arkham Assylum to be honest.

You can get the Hardcover Batman and Son, which encompasses the introduction of Damian as well as the Black Glove story, which plants the seeds for Batman Incorporated and RIP (not a big fan of the latter personally).

RIP or Batman and Son. If you like the concept of having batmen all around the world and like Damian and Talia, Batman Inc. is awesome too.

His Batman and Robin & Batman Inc (both volumes) are currently on sale at comixology/DC digital at the moment, so I'd recommend picking one of those.

I feel that all his Batman arcs are one giant, epic, cohesive story. IMO you'll appreciate it more if you read his entire Batman run. Though it is expensive so you should start off with Batman and Son then the Black Glove. You can get the deluxe edition containing the two stories and it's definitely worth getting

Hell yeah. It's ten trades worth isn't it? Not including Batman and Time (not really needed to get the full story). That can be around 150 bucks depending on how you buy it.

They need to make a two part Omnibus out of his run, it really deserves it.

@silverpool: lol pretty much. From what I remember I think Grant Morrison's entire Batman run excluding his stand alone stories are:

    -Batman and Son

    -The Black Glove

    -Batman R.I.P.

    -Batman and Robin Vol. 1-3

    -The Return of Bruce Wayne

    -Batman Inc. Vol. 1-3

There's also Batman: Bruce Wayne- The Long Road Home. It's not from Morrison but I liked it since it's basically Bruce's introspective thoughts on the people important to him.

I feel that Marvel does a better job overall collecting a large collection of stories than DC and you generally get more bang for your buck. I'm currently enjoying Michelinie's Spider-man omnibus lol

There was a "batman" issue at the end!? Wow now i gotta speed through it haha. I'm only about halfway done with the omnibus.

Yeah the book makes me miss Peter and Mary Jane as a married couple. They really had a great dynamic and played well of each other. Admittedly I haven't been the biggest fan of Slott's run and had mixed feelings with a lot of his arcs. The only time that I can say I loved Slott's run was with Spider-Island and The Superior Spider-man, though I can understand if I'm in the minority with the latter title lol

@batcat91: yeah, it's a brief joke kind of issue (I think it's only a couple of pages) but still awesome. The note at the end says something along the lines of "Dave, we can't publish this."

I read the Big Time Ultimate Collection and that was kind of hit and miss for me.

My favorite part of that Omnibus is when Spider-Man leaps and yells, "something makes me want to scream 'KROM!'"
