Looks like we're starting to move away from all the talk about The Avengers. The movie is still doing well but we're now we're seeing more bits from The Dark Knight Rises surface. I know many refuse to check stuff out because they don't want to be spoiled but these images don't really spoil anything. It gives us a chance to get a closer look at the characters to see how their costumes and such will look like.

The first batch comes from EMPIRE magazine. The magazine has two covers, pics and a feature preview. Be sure to pick up the magazine to get all the glorious details.

I am not as excited about seeing this movie, it isn't until I see a trailer or something that I am reminded that I am actually excited but when I step away I forget again. Maybe its because I am worried that Batman is going to die in it and that would be a depressing ending to a trilogy, or maybe because Nolan's Batman lives in such a dark world. I want to see it, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel jump out of my skin excited yet.

I, having a longer memory than the collective memory of the internet, remember all the ranting and raving about how terrible Heath Ledger was going to be as the Joker and how there is no way he could ever do the character justice and how people were going to refuse to see the movie because of him. Of course, Heath was brilliant in the film and all the complaints immediately turned to praise when the movie hit. 
 
Now here we are, with Hathaway as Catwoman and we have all the same complaints. I really doubt Nolan is so clueless as to put someone who didn't fit his vision into the movie. I'm sure she'll be just fine and all the complaints are concerns are for nothing.

i think Anne looks very pretty in the role, i just dont know if she can pull it off, but we'll find out soon enough!

I can't agree with all the sentiment towards Anne here. She looks hot as ever, and she is embodying Catwoman more than anything we've ever seen before. The costume looks great, I love the mask, and how she's carrying herself in the trailers and tv spots is spot-on. She sounds ridiculously sexy in the trailer when she says "I'm adaptable," and even in this tv spot, "And who are you pretending to be." Anne's a phenomenal actress and she's gonna own it just like Ledger did 4 years ago.

I want to see this movie but I'm not anxious too. From what I've seen it just doesn't look as good as the previous 2. I'm smelling the part 3 curse coming on

I disagree that maggie was a bad part of the dark knight. she gave a strong performance and really sold me during her death scene

How are people worried this movie won't be good!? I'm curious how big joseph Gordon-Levitt's(not sure if I wrote his name right) character is going to be in the movie. He only ever has like one scene in the trailers.

the wide screen posters are gorgeous. The trailers are getting me hyped. Bane went from looking stupid, to actually coming off as being pretty intimidating now, and even tho Anne Hathaway cotume looks stupid, she still looks hot. I just can't wait.

Hopes this breaks Avengers records, but even if it don't. Means nothing, wait until JL movie is made then we'll talk records lol.

Either way I'm betting this will already be way better then Spiderman 3, Xmen3 combined...

It's to bad that cat suit is textured it adds bulk to anne's figure.

why does everyone say anne hathaway looks bad??? she looks more like catwoman than hardy does as bane. in fact hardy looks and sounds awful as bane

I never did scroll all the way down on these pictures but Bane has control of the Tumblers!? Holy crap! That's going to be freakin scary!

My only problem with Catwoman for this film is the fact that high heels are impractical for what Catwoman does in the comics and in this movie and the fact that as a cat burglar why is her hair completely exposed. Having her hair exposed has the potential to leave DNA evidence as to who committed the theft. Other than that I think Anne is gorgeous as always and is going to give a stellar performance she is a great actress. I dont see how people keep saying she looks stupid considering she is standing next to a grown man dressed up as a bat.
