Rob Leifeld, who seems embittered by DC, made a comment for us to expect a Superman/Batman, Red Robin, and Brave and the Bold book.

Do you think he is saying that cause when he worked for DC he saw that in the works, or do you think he is just saying that because he is making fun or a point about the fact that DC keeps canceling books and adding more Batman?

God, I hope he's just being a douche.

I can see how some people would want a Red Robin book. Hate that name. Makes me think of the restaurant chain.

Brave and the Bold and Superman/Batman would be overkill. Absolute overkill.

Liefeld is out of the DC loop. Most of the CURRENT creators don't know what titles are in the works, Liefeld's just being a pain in the neck.

I think he's still bitter by Snyder's burn on him.

I'm guessing if it were true and Liefield had had access to that information while working for DC, it'd be illegal for him to disclose it.

No, those guys get enogh exposer, what about Batcow, the Wayne dog, or even Alfred? How about a Gordon comic?
I know, Owlman - he it will be like Talon but he is helping the court fight their rivals, like deathstroke but he kills good guys, like Batman but he causes crime - his city is too good, he will fight cleanliness!!!

Does anybody remember the Companion book to Battle for the Cowl? One of the most interesting parts to an otherwise so-so book was where Gordon and the GCPD had to go against A-Team villain Mr Freeze without Batman, and Gordon kicks his ass by the way.

Cancel The Dark Knight. Turn Detective into a showcase book for various street level and Bat family characters. Make Batman & Robin a Damian title.

We already need to cancel half of the bat related books. There's too many already. They had to cancel good titles like Blue Beetle for more of this Bat-sh*t. I'm sick of it.

Well we all know if any Batman title does get canceled its going to be Batwing because it is the only one that is under performing.

But ya I also think he is just being a douche. I mean he is just an embittered (and awful) artist.

However my thoughts on the possibilities of each book.

Superman/Batman - Although I really enjoy reading them together I think it would over shadow Worlds' Finest (I know that book sucks, but hopefully they get a new creative team on that book to save it). So I hope they don't do it.

Red Robin: I'm all for it, and get someone that isn't Lobdell to write it!

Brave and the Bold: Could actually be a possible way to showcase under exposed characters and replace DC Universe Presents. I know for the people that don't like Batman's over exposer, it would be annoying that it would be a team up with Batman (I personally don't mind). But its proven that Batman sells, and this could still be a way to get more characters out there and get them more face time.

I have a soft spot for Superman/Batman, so I hope they do start it up again. There have been several mentions of them wanting to and/or working on restarting that series over the last year or two from other people, so it could be possible (I know that's as vague as it could possibly get, but I don't have the source handy, sorry).

Yeah, it's just Superman/batman. The storyarcs Search for Kryptonite, Public Enemies and Torment are good, especially the first one. I've only read a few other single issues, but I've heard many say that the quality of the series was not that high overall, so I've been researching each trade before buying.
