    Though Last Rites is usually included in the Batman RIP trade, I'm planning on getting the arc on comixology where I can get it in singles. If I wasn't planning on reading Final Crisis afterwards, would Last Rites matter to the story? Is the main Batman RIP story/ending solid enough on its own without reading Last Rites as well?

    It's not necessary and it takes place after the events of R.I.P IIRC so R.I.P's story and ending are not effected by it.
