Batman won't willingly kill, even if killing will save innocent lives. Every time he spares a murderous villain like the Joker he knows people will die because of it, but to prevent their deaths would require him breaking his rule. Thus, Batman is indirectly responsible for countless innocent deaths.

If Bruce considers keeping the moral high-ground more important than protecting the innocent, can he truly be considered a good guy?

    What if...?

The Joker kills some one who will create a virus that end humanity, but Batman kills The Joker and for the same Batman killed everybody.

@deathpoolthet1000: That's different because Batman did not know, he knows what he's allowing when he spares Joker.

@deathpoolthet1000: If Joker killed again the last twenty times Bruce put him in Arkham, why would it be any different the next twenty? He KNOWS people will die and that he can stop it, but his code is too important to him.

It's nice to know ONE MAN is solely responsible for the death of every citizen in an entire city. Batman isn't a good person because he can't save everyone and he doesn't kill? You've got quite the argument there.

@racob7: How does Batman know Joker will kill again? Does he have a time machine?

Even then, it's not his fault. I guess your responsible for any future terrorist attack, because you didn't take the effort to join the military and fight any possible threats.

And Batman could use magic to bring them back from the grave.

Are we tell he is a bad person because he doesnt use magic to bring all the dead people from the grave?.

    Batman cant know the future.

    He doesnt have that power.

This again? C'mon! I seen three of this thread just this week. LOOK! Batman doesn't send Joker or any of his villains to Arkham. He gives them to GCPD and the stupid judges and court system keep sending them to Arkham instead of sentencing them to a quick death penalty. The only time he brings them to that asylum is when he is asked to bring them there. How the hell is he a bad guy for stopping them from murdering people without resorting to killing them? It speaks to his character that he has enough self control to not kill any of his villains. And why does HE has to kill them? Why not Gordon? Why not Bullock? Why not Robin? Why not Alfred? Why not any of the police officers? Why not any of the citizens who owns a freaking gun?

He is a good guy, he has no right of taking a life, if he ever crosses that line he will never come back, he probably would become a villain, just like superman in the INJUSTICE universe.
