Is a evil Batman unstoppable?
@cameron83: yes
Mind telling me how so?
@ultrastarkiller: Or the 2-part Justice League episode, "A Better World."
Owlman is the evil batman. But good batman always beat evil batman.
True, but technically Owlman isn't Bruce Wayne. He's Thomas Wayne Jr, Bruce's brother.
An evil Batman would be a very serious threat to the super hero community, and would probably the most dangerous human on the planet but he would not be unstoppable, far from it.
@jaken7: Yup all evidence that an evil Batman is a Lex Luthor lvl threat.
@ultrastarkiller: But not unbeatable.
@jaken7: Well in both cases he was only stopped by good Batman IIRC. So nope not unbeatable.
If your name happens to be wenjun chew
Or if he has the chew force
Evil Batman would be a slightly inferior Lex Luthor. Batman does not inspire through charisma like Superman, or manipulation of desires like Lex. Batman converts people to his cause by having a sound cause, that he consistently fights for. It is something that few writers are good enough to write or understand about the real world. Batman has a vision for Gotham that he is willing to put into action through every single act that he does. He understands that the ends cannot justify the means because there is no end. Only actions and their consequences.
An evil Batman would not be dangerous because of the physical damage, any Justice League member above Aquaman could put him down quite easily even if he were prepped for weeks. He would become a problem because of the rigorous way that he would go about being evil. The ripple effect of villains in Marvel has been explored. The ripple effect of superheroes in most comic books has been established.
I guess I am saying is that Batman going evil would do more to lead other heroes and borderline people into the darkness. And it is really hard to stop someone who genuinely lives an ideology.
That is what Nolanverse Batman was able to get that Johnsverse Batman can never have. Johns is just not there from everything he has produced.
