Batman should have super intelligence although it could be argued that he already has this.
Maybe increased speed, strength, and durability based on how much will power and focus he has at a given time?
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23537 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Imagine Batman with a superpower
actually, Batman with Superman's powers existed. In the Elseworld Superman: Speeding Bullets, where baby Kal-El was adopted by Thomas and Martha Wayne.
1. Worst night for Bruce Wayne... and Joe Chill.
2. Finiding the inner "Bat".
3. SuperBatman in action.
Teleportation....batman does not need powers he can do it all already i mean he can kill superman if he wanted or needed to!!
Batman doesn't need any sort of ability because should he get any kind of power he would be completely overpowered. Namely, should he get a green lantern ring, he would use his resourcefulness to fully utilize every possible thing he could do with its power. Like the poster says:

I'm with the camp that says Batman with powers would be overkill. Hell, giving Batman a piece of dental floss is a potentially lethal endeavour.
Batman with either of these powers would be awesome
If he really should have a power, it should be something with shadow manipulation, to hide himself and scare villians and thugs even more!
Well, giving Batman powers would be a disservice to the character for 3 reasons:
1. It defies the whole concept of Batman; his appeal is that he is a mortal human being who derives all of his skill and power through his vast intellect, physical power, martial and tactical skill, moral incorruptibility, and limitless wealth. Giving him a power renders all of that moot.
2. Powers make for a lazy Super hero; the reason why Superman has such a hard time getting interesting stories and why Wonder Woman was able to beat Power Girl.
3. Absolute power corrupts absolutely; I'd be terrified of the idea of Batman getting a power because that might lead him down a terrible path.
BUT:
If I had to name the most practical powers for Batman to have, they would be:
1. The Ability to Multiply himself, so that he can be in more than one place at a time.
2. The Ability to Teleport through Shadows
3. Excellerated Healing, although he doesn't really need it. Just compare Batman's track-record with Wolverine's; Wolverine has died 18,654 times, and Batman has only died once. :)
4. The Ability to hold down a family life while also fighting crime at his level. :)
I think the scariest powers for him to have would be
1. Resurrect the dead (what if he could bring Thomas and Martha Wayne back from the dead?...)
3. Telepathy (I don't know if anybody could survive reading The Joker's mind)
I wouldn't like him with super powers I think why I like Batman is that becase he doesn't have them, but if he had to have one I think it should be to teleport or to turn into a shadow or something that suits him.
This question makes me think of Charlie Chaplin and his 'tramp' character...
The Tramp became popular the world over during the days of silent film... He was a character anyone from any country could identify with... And even though Chaplin kept making movies when sound films came along, he NEVER made a sound film with The Tramp because he KNEW once The Tramp spoke he was dead... Basically, he would no longer belong to the entire world, but really just one country, or a few that spoke english...
Regarding Batman, what most of us love about Batman is that he doesn't have super powers...He's able to go toe to toe with the best of them WITHOUT POWERS... We LIKE that... He uses his mind and trains his body.... He has absolutely NO super powers and yet he is one of the most popular comic book characters of all times.
Yes, it is interesting to think about, 'what if he DID get a power' and I've thought about that on occasion, but I always come back to, "No, I don't want him to have a power. He's not only cool the way he is, but he's cool BECAUSE of the way he is."
Batman's lack of powers is what seperates him from the Moon Knight.Batman being a well conceived, well written character is what separates him from Moon Knight.
Has anyone mentioned giving him Jack Hawksmoor's power?
Of course he's best without powers, although it takes an awful lot of suspension of disbelief to think of him as non superhuman especially in some animated movies.
I'd like to see Bats with some form of magic, not necessarily having all the magic, but give him a little bit of magic powers. This would create a whole new dynamic between him a Superman, as well as give him the option of instead of sending his rouges to Arkham but another dimension all together.
I'm not adverse to any idea, but this is a little tough given how Batman hates magic with a passion.
And now that you put it that way, I think I would love it if Batman pulled off a crazy magic spell and saved the day, leaving Zatanna with this face ---> O_O
If I gave him a power, it'd be the power he already has, Batmite. He'd basically be able to see and talk to invisible spirits (like Batmite). To other people he'd seem crazy at times. Against his will Batmite would manipulate situations without Batman's knowledge. So while to the world and Batman while it seems like he's achieving his feats by himself, he's really acting as a proxy for Batmite. Of course a large part of what Batman does is his own accomplishments, but Batmite would provide the occasional helping hand. This is why even in front of other superpowered beings Batman is a powerhouse. Personally barring their looks, I've always felt that Batmite and Mister Mxyzptlk had interesting potential to be superheroes cause of their interesting powers.
I guess he'd kinda be like the DC character Yz, Jakeem "J.J." Thunder's Thunderbolt.
Giving Bruce a superpower is like giving Michael Myers a knife. He can't handle having a power and goes crazy. When it's brought up, he's jealous of Hal because this dude he can't stand has one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. He's had Superman's powers before and got so bad the Justice League had to try and stop him.
I'd give him Ultimate Captain america's power set as well as an accelerated healing factor although i prefer him in his "peak human " form. I also fight it funny how every time he does get a power they find a reason to right him out of it. Yellow lantern ring: he basically says lol no, Green lantern ring: yea you actually make a good lantern but since you purposely don't get over your parents death lol no, white lantern ring: you are not the true bearer of the ring so lol no again. It's like writers acknowledge Bruce should logically be chosen for a ring but then they create some reason to keep him regular. It's understandable why they do it but why tease us lol.
i would give him drama power.
its the ability to survive any situation or overcome any foe through sheer force of will when situations get dramatic enough. kinda like how a woman can lift a car off her child, only in a more reality bending way.
this way nothing would change at all!!!!!
