I pretty much agree with that thread. The only purpose for giving Batman any kind of super power would be to allow him to compete realistically with larger threats. However in doing so you lose so much more than you gain. At the time, you gain a slight pique of interest and a few more storylines, but in the long run you lose who he is as a character. The whole point of comics and any form of storytelling is to A: tell a story (duh) and B: get people to identify with and pull for or against characters. Batman in a sense loses his identity in gaining super powers, as it ruins the consistency and the story of his character. As stated in the thread you posted, it would make Batman's feats much less special, because as is whenever he pulls off something awesome it's unique because he is only a human. I would rather see a Batman story about Bruce taking down some kind of organized crime syndicate or some low level mutants any day over giving him super powers just so he can fight someone like Darkseid.

It would be cool to see Batman with other heroes powers, or maybe with Amazo suit or something like the watch of Ben 10 in AU story.

Today I was just thinking about drawing it. Batman with Mjolnir in one hand green lantern ring on the other.

Would be cool to see Batman with Mjolnir.

Fire and bullet resistance, which is Batman 1M's durability feats. He could probably corner his opponents easily with life-like holograms.

Timelord pockets, so he can have infinite batarangs

Batman and others without "powers" actualy do have power.

I think its the most powerfull Superpower in comicbook/fictional history.

Its called: Plot Armour. For real.

Many antagonists have it , Batman ,Bond , Samurai Jack , Simon from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann has it and etc.

No matter what they always survive , bullets , poison , god's , Supermen.

That's my favourite Superpower.
