He trained extensively to achieve both mental and physical perfection, mastering detective skills, martial arts, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on criminals' fear and utilizing a high-tech arsenal in his crusade to rid Gotham City of crime, the legendary Batman was born.

Take it back to when Bruce was travelling the world learning how to fight crime.

A Batman book that actually doesn't deal with Batman *shocked face*.

Maybe a sort of Suicide Squad or Secret Six that makes up several of his most iconic enemies. Or else go and do a villain POV of the Batman universe (I'd go for either Harvey Dent or one of Solomon Grundy's more intelligent re-animations.)
