At the end, when Bruce is debating whether he should still be Batman, Gordon is going to get his ass kicked by some villain he can't beat.

Then Bruce sighs, puts on the cowl, and stomps every threat.

It will be a tasty moment.

Aside from this being an obvious publicity stunt, I just can't figure out what the point of all of this is from a narrative standpoin. It all seems sorta dumb.

The best part about it is that it will all be over soon.

One of the things I like is that he isn't even trying to pretend that he is the original Batman and he knows that he won't be able to do it as well as him but It's the least he can do for Gotham and for the memory of his friend.

Exactly! I totally agree, Jim multiple times said he dose not think it looks and feels like Batman. If they can keep up the quality (and these guys probably can) I hope we get 15+ books on this.
