he'd be a loner... i can't see him fitting into any of the Marvel Teams...

failing that, he'd buy out Stark Enterprises lol

This is not a battle thread. How would Batmans transition into the Marvel Universe be? Would he be with the Avengers? Would he have any alliances with the heroes of Marvel? Who would he have the biggest problem with, and who would he see eye to eye with?

#3 Posted by Buckshot (18201 posts) - 5 years, 6 months ago - Show Bio

I see him somewhere between Tony Stark and Black Panther. I don't know if that makes much sense without more description, but I don't really feel like it. You guys can figure it out.

I have a feeling he would be alot more withdrawn. He would prbbly have a lot of grudge with Cap America (though have a lot of respect for him). I think he would make spiderman a sort of apprentice, or at least a somewhat friends.

He'd be anti registration and definitely have a few run ins with Punisher. As for villains I see him going against guys like Bullseye maybe the Kingpin

Renegade Lantern says:

my thoughts exactly when it comes to everyday villians. I can also see Batman going up against more serious foes like maybe Doom, and possibly trying to outsmart him. I could also see some sort of alliance with Mr. Fantastic. I would also predict problems with Nick Fury,...it could either way with Fury i guess. He wouldn't like Tony Starks. His drinking is a liability, we all know how Batman feels about liabilities.....

He could do a one time mission with the Exiles, just say he's from the alternate universe of DC.

I can see him battling a lot of Spiderman's enemies : Clayface-Sandman, Joker-Goblin.

Maybe he could fund a N.Y.C asylum and put the bad guys there.

He'd actually lose to some villians and get beaten up once in a while.

He would definately have problems with the way Punisher operates, Punisher is the biggest threat to D level characters, Batman puts them all in jail.

Joker is definitely greater than Jigsaw but that wont help him stop a bullet.

I like the character, but the revolving penal system in the Batman comics makes it a sick joke. He's killed far too many people for them to just send him to Arkham again, knowing full well that he'll get out in the next month or so.

#41 Posted by Kraven (517 posts) - 5 years, 6 months ago - Show Bio

I agree. It's more that Batman can win against people he shouldn't be able to. Wolverine still takes his share of beat downs. I keep siting Namor in other threads but......Namor is far less popular than Wolverine (Namor doesn't even have a monthly title) but he's beaten on Wolverine twice in the last year. This is because it makes sense, Wolverine shouldn't be able to beat Namor. But if it were Batman, I think they'd still have him win. I do like Batman but that's what bothers me a lot about the character.

in threads yeah, but in the comics wolverine beats a lot of people he shouldnt have, or even fight with other people he shouldnt be able to. they act like he could actually fight against the hulk. i think he's almost killed the hulk a couple of times! that is soooo stupid. one hit from the hulk should turn his brain into mush. maybe he heals from that, but until he does he should just be laying there.

He's hurt the Hulk when the Hulk was in grey form. That incarnation of Hulk was far less powerful. Hulk usually mops the floor with Wolverine and did knock his brains out the first time they met.

I agree. I don't like that either. Like I said, I was more thinking of how Batman always wins. Typically, I think Marvel has more "check & balance" characters compared to DC where Superman & Batman tend to dominate as supreme.

I was just making a point. I didn't think everyone would jump down my throat about it.
