Just wondering how high you think it is. He has been tortured as kept fighting, been stabbed and even dislocated his shoulder to escape from azrael once in batman 674, and who remembers his fight with talon in the new 52 batman series? He was stabbed in all his vital points and survived being thrown out a window and still won.

It seems like he has a strong will and can take anything anyone dishes out as long as it doesn't kill him.

There is meditation technique where one can turn off pain, it wouldn't help with actual injuries like broken bones, or loss of blood, but pain it self would no longer be a factor.

If there was ever a reference to this type of mediation in a story arc I didn't read it, but it would not surprise me if Bats was trained in this kind of thing.

@breadspread: Gotham Knights kind of showed it and I think it was mention in some books. And he's not just good at enduring physical pain only but he's also great at overcoming mental pain/fears.

@rustyroy: yeah, the overcoming fear is brought up a lot, I mean... The whole bat thing is based on his fears.

If Batman can indeed "turn-off" pain, then pain tolerance in no longer an issue, he'd only need to be aware of the severity of his injuries.

I remember when he was captured by the Injustice League and he dislocated his own shoulder in order to free himself from the straight jacket they had him in.
