1-Detective Skills he's usually gotten the better hand on most of his villains by using his super sleuth skills

2- That giant computer in his cave isn't for well ahem you know, its for analysis of really anything to gain an advantage in his war on crime

Easy: He's got all the obsessive focus of a deranged supervillain, and all the karmic backup of a superhero. He's pretty much guaranteed to figure out whatever he puts his mind to.
