So in Batman 18 Harper Row dons a catsuit, and manages to kick some ass. Despite her being unable to protect her kid brother, now she has some fighting proficiency and gadgets.

Sigh. I was fine with her being a Harold like character, helping out with engineering/computer stuff, but now it seems she is going to be part of the bat family in a more prominent fashion.

You'd think if you were going to introduce a new character you would develop it carefully. Except here we have a girl who couldn't protect her brother now out and about fighting alongside Batman.

Snyder hit's it out of the park again. Not.

Not to jump on the bandwagon, but I'm not really a fan of Harper Row. Her New 52 issues have been the weakest of Snyder's run by far, IMO.

This is a character that means alot to Snyder, and therefore he is going to try and promote her as much as he can. I was thinking that she would better serve as a Oracle type character, but with her recent issue showing that she can more physical just goes to show that she might have a future with the Family. I wouldn't mind her with the Family, but I don't think that she should be Robin, and Batman's opening up to her makes me worried. I think he cares too much of his new creation and not thinking about how she is resonating with readers. Now, alot of people I hear say that they like her, and others say they don't. there isn't a clear consensus. Now, she is going to be in Detective Comics 21 and maybe more after that, so either Snyder is forcing them to use his character, or the writers of different titles see the potential in her. I hope its the latter, and we actually get really good stories out of her, because these 2 Harper stories have been average and the least compelling out of Snyder's run. I hope that it works well is all

She will be his next partner almost for sure but I really can't stand her.She is a copy of Stephanie Brown(A character that I liked) and wears a suit like Catwoman.She is the most original character ever.

You mean, why would someone object to the implication that a woman who chooses to have sex is automatically a whore? Or, that when there's a large age gap involved with a sexual relationship the woman is in the 'wrong' even if she's underage? I felt it was worth a comment.

I really liked Batman 18. I don't think it's that big a deal that Harper has been training and is attempting to follow in Batman's footsteps. And I really like the relationship she has with Batman.

Plus, I honestly don't think she'll be the next Robin. It's too obvious the choice. I'm betting she'll take on her own name someday (Grid, perhaps?) but Snyder's too smart to try to make her Robin so soon after Damian's death.

This would have been a great time to add diversity to the Bat-family, and shake things up a little. Instead it's the same old crap

I personally see Harper as Snyder's biggest mistake so far, moreso since he's so attached to her. I just... I really can't bring myself to like her yet.
