I personally don't think he needs one. Batman has enough sidekicks already and the whole Robin thing doesn't fit in this age imo. Not to mention theres Red Robin who is basically a Robin 2.0 with red in his name and costume.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Does Batman still need a Robin?
Yes. Obviously he isn't going to die or not be able to function without one but robins are good for batman. We have bluebird coming and a robin that will be brought back, likely Damian (too obvious IMO), Stephanie (I hope its her) or Carrie Kelley (she hasn't had enough appearances or hype for it to be her IMO but it's possible.

To many Robns goddamn it.
I don't think Batman takes in a Robin because he "needs" somebody at this point. He's got Dick and Alfred and Barbra. Occasionally, if he needs help, then Jason and Tim will come help even if they aren't really speaking to Bruce.
He takes in people that need help.
Batman doesn't need Robin. Whoever is Robin needs Bruce.
Except arguably Tim. Tim probably didn't need Bruce.
Batman should always have a Robin, I understand that there I some that think the whole concept is silly with the whole child endangerment and all but it's a staple of the Batman mythos and franchise, they should never take that away. Batman is at his best when he has a Robin by his side imo
Screw it, I change my answer to no. Tim tried to say that he does but he only needed someone at that time because he was angry over Jason dying. I agree he just takes in whoever wants to and needs him at the time. He can function perfectly fine without a robin.
No its time to retire the whole sidekick thing just let Batman be his own freaking character without him having some brat tag along you will most likely die then we will have to deal with Bruce continued brooding about it until the next meat shield comes along
New 52 has basically done away with the concept of robin, besides damian. I don't like it, changes batman changes everyone around batman.
