What is wrong with this book? I just read it for the first time last night. I don't understand why people hate it so much. The only thing I didn't really dig was the ending. And how Bruce treated Dick, however before he gets out he does kinda show he still cares about The old boy wonder.

@gotwillpower: I think it's Dark Knight Strikes Again... I'm not sure though.

That would be it. It is a comic forum...I did sort of mention Bruce...Dick...Boy Wonder....Things that should be recognizable lol.

@RoboShark: It could be confused with Dark Knight Volume 2 (new52)... A run that has its fair share of haters.

As for the topic at hand, I don't believe it sucks but I think it is a definite step-down from DKR.

Yeah. I think DKR itself is a tad overrated. However I think it was the first thing I read along with Marvel zombies when I got back into comics in 09. So I have a special spot in my heart for it, and Frank Millers ugly mug.

@RoboShark: I think it's a little overrated too. I read it after seeing other people talking about it, and after all the praise it received, I felt underwhelmed.

I don't see what there is to like about The Dark Knight Strikes Again. The story is like DKR, but it's just a little too over the top for me, kind of making it unreadable (at least for me). I think my taste is--perhaps to a fault--mainstream-oriented.

I'm an over the top kinda guy. I also didn't mind Miller and Lee's All-Star Batman & Robin. Which I know lots of people do not like.
