Dark Knight Rises question! HELP!!!

Batman asks the commissioner "Where is Miranda Tate?" and Gordon says, " Bane took her." Why would Batman ask that having seen her 2 scenes before... When he told her he couldn't get her out of the city...? Is it a movie messup or am I missing something..?

i pondered about that too, maybe not to rise suspicion?

and another scene: Where Catwoman lures Batman into the first fight scene with Bane, where he breaks his back, Bane clearly says Bruce out loud, so that Catwoman could hear it...(i think) then in the middle right after Bruce gets out of the pit, he meets with Selina Kyle, and there she doesnt have a Clue and she still asks Bruce about his "powerful friend"

What exactly was the point behind this? maybe it was to goad people in to having an argument with you so that you could just dismiss them as Nolan or Batman fanboys.

I always took Selina's comment about his powerful friend as pure sarcasm.

I'm sorry Nolan dropped the ball on this movie, it wasn't bad but it was not up to the standard set by the Dark Knight

@FatihBATMAN: I think they were being coy. By the way thank you for giving me a reason to say coy.

There are plenty of plot holes in the movie, but I still enjoyed it.

I agree. It was still enjoyable, but it was not what it did not live up to its predecessor.

@entropy_aegis: I love Nolan movies and Batman but TDKR wasn't a best effort for either. As I said it wasn't a bad movie at all but it could have and should have been so much better than it was.

I loved the film. I will say that Nolan was under a lot of pressure to perfect the trilogy and thats partly is the reason for a few of the missteps.

I can understand that, truth be told I think they put too much effort to make it more epic and maybe that resulted in the movie lacking in certain places.

@entropy_aegis: And the whole Robin thing just felt shoe horned, as an actual fan of Robin I won't say I was happy about about Nolan and Bale's overall opinion of the Robin character but I completely understood why it wouldn't fit in to what they were trying to do so honestly it felt like they just tacked it on for sheer fan service and probably would have been better if it were left out.
