    Hey guys.

Just wondered if any of you have any info on when Dark Knight: Boy Wonder, the sequal to All-Star Batman & Robin will be released?

I remember reading that Frank Miller had done the script, and that Jim Lee had started it, but not finished it as he was focusing on the new 52 relaunch a year ago.

Has anyone been to a comic-con panal with Jim giving any info on to when it will actually see the light of day?

    Cheers

Don't know if they'll continue with that at all for two reasons:

1: It's been over 2 years since they announced the project, only to be met with delay after delay after delay...so with Jim Lee having taken new roles, I doubt that they'll pick it up

2: Most people hated All-Star Batman and Robin, so I hope a sequel never makes the light of day

It always seems that Jim takes on loads of stuff, regardless of how much he has to do. I'd just give the project to another artist, my votes would be Matt Wagner, Lee Bermejo, Doug Mahnke, Ivan Ryes or Etan Van Sciver. It'd still sell. Frank Miller could even finish it himself.

I actually don't own All-Star Batman and Robin as i refused to buy it until Boy Wonder was finished, but i have read most of it. I think its pretty cool, I know batman is a hard ass in it, and not what we come to expect of him after other writers have fleshed out his character. But it is Millers version after all.

The book is supposed to be a different Batman, people b!tched about it because he seemed to be too violent and BC was portrayed as a slut.

I thought All-Star Batman was the greatest display of what Batman would actually be like.

I have always wanted to read it for the art and to laugh at the story, but I refuse to buy something with Frank Miller's name on it (other than Year One and Dark Knight Returns) simply because he is an awful person.

I kind of want it to happen. I have a myriad of problems with All-Star Batman & Robin, but still ended up loving it anyway. After a full trade's worth of issues, there doesn't really seem to be a plot, the characters all repeat themselves a lot, the dialogue gets hammy on a regular basis, and Batman smiles and cackles like a psycho frequently. That being said, I enjoy it. The art is some of Jim Lee's best work, the low points of the writing tend to be amusing rather than painful, and if the book got one thing right (and it's about all it got right) it was the depiction of Batman as a terrifying outlaw vigilante. Oh, and Batman and Robin's encounter with the Green Lantern was priceless. I say go for it.

The Goddamn Batman was actually really really funny, like a satire of Batman who was replaced by a very bizarre homeless guy name Crazy Steve

the problem is that it was suppose to be taken serious

If you look at it as a parody is just very enjoyable but it still is one of the worst written batman ever made

I actually quite liked it, it was a bit more wilder Batman and it was refreshing from the dark, brooding, cold Batman. It was an alternate take on Batman which I really enjoyed, kinda sad that the story won't reach a for-filling conclusion .
