@done85hot: Those are the two from Detective Comics 0, I was also thinking about the last arc in Batman Confidential ("Super Powers" issues 50-54), but that was really controversial. Like I said I know of lots of stuff with his training regimens, but not that many before he put on the suit.

Detective Comics #2 by Mark Waid tells the story of how he became the great detective he is. Awesome read.
