Not gonna mope about it, but I give props where its due. Compared even to Kilmer, I still consider Bale to be the best cinematic portrayal of the character. He actually looks like Bruce Wayne, and he really got the pathos of the character across.

@veshark: I hear you... I really want a new actor to play Batman, but that is not a reflection of how I feel about Bale's performance. I really like Bale's Batman, it will always be a great performance no matter what the next films are like. I'm just really excited to see something new.

Mm yeah agreed, what's past is past. Let's just continue to enjoy Bale, but look forward to a new actor taking on the cowl.

IMO he was the best batman and bruce wayne. He was perfect as a stuck up dim witted playboy in batman Begins and the dark knight and looked totally badass as batman. Yes I will miss him and so will the general public, but I am still very excited for superman/batman movie. Another thing, he actually looked liked bruce wayne should unlike previous actors, not to bash them, I'm just saying. I doubt any actor can play batman and bruce as well as he did but we will see!
