Yeah, we know, everyone's still nostalgic about the 90s Batman series BUT me? I'll be missing Brave & The Bold... (couldn't they have just taken out Batman from the title to keep it alongside the new shows?)

they said joker was'nt going to appear in this series so...yea i'll pass
If you really think they're not bringing joker in, then the jokes on you.
LOL. He'll be there in like season 2 or something.

I'll give this a miss thanks. A bulky Alfred is not befitting of the characters role, Katana isn't suited to be a supporting character of the Batman family and a Professor Pyg and Mr Toad for kids will be horrible.
so much negativity lvenger. lol

Didn't like the look of the show in the first place and the bios confirm it. I'm not against 3D cartoons in general but this one looks poor.
That's not Alfred, that's Bibbo from the Superman comics. And Mr. Toad?!? What the WHAT with this show!?! I thought it was supposed to be taken seriously. Fat chance with those villians.
As MUCH as i love Batman... im just not feeling this, I dont like Batmans design, im not a fan of Alfreds rewritting, it seems like they are trying to man Alfred up to becomming a hero himself, he looks like a bodygaurd not a butler, maybe it will work, who knows?
Also im getting tired of all the Batman animated shows, the last Bat show i was a fan of was Batman Beyond, then nothing since Batman TAS. Which i still watch from time to time. Isnt it time however to use some of their other heroes? Right now, i would much rather watch a Captain Marvel show than a Batman show.
What is the push with Katana? :( I'm glad that she's a minority and a female but I don't see the appeal to her!

a spirit, captain marvel, plastic man or hawkman woulda been WAY cooler...stop trying to outdo batman: tas..can't be done
This spirit?
If So then YES!
This show might be good, or it might suck, we wont know until it debuts.
I wont watch it because I am tired of batman cartoons. I want another Legion cartoon, or Plastic Man, the Spirit would be cool too.
@TenEyedMen: Feel free to show me that the "public" aka the majority said that. Not just a few ass clowns on the internet. Just because one or two people say they don't like something doesn't mean public reception. This show has a weak plot and violates the mythos of Batman a little too much. Nothing has ever been improved with this much editorial interference.

I want to see what their joker looks like.
I want to see if they'll even HAVE a Joker...
It's such a sad time for comic fans these days. I mean, X-Men Origins Wolverine, DC cancelling so many series, Ultimate Spider-Man, Star Wars being bought by Disney....
My initial reaction is horror, but after letting that wash over me, I am a little interested. I do not understand the changes with Alfred though.

Are you being serious? It would be shocking if this series did not have a Joker. I'll give you Wolverine though I personally thought it was okay. DC has created just as many series as it has cancelled. I think there one up/one down policy is the best thing that came out of the reboot forcing them to try new things. Ultimate Spider-Man has a lot of haters, but it also has a lot of people who love it. Disney may not have a perfect record, but they cannot do much worse with Lucas Arts than Lucas has done of recent.
I love Batman, so I'll check it out, it just seems like the creators are trying to make the show "dark & gritty". This version of Alfred looks like he'll be similar to the Earth One version of Alfred.
@PortlandsBatman: They said they won't be using the main villains but I'm sure by season 2 they will roll back on that.
I just hope with Katana they will have Halo! Since I'm not getting her in the comics, I need my fix. But yeah, somehow seeing this akin the the last new batman series they tried to start. The first one was so good and did so well, why do they have to mess up what should be an easy thing?

I see you don't actually read comics. Pyg and Toad are actually really dark villains. If anything, we're wondering how they'll tone them DOWN.

You can find ANY old discussion board before these shows premiered. People were whining because of the "childish" designs, or because YJ is not like the comics, or any stupid thing. Even today, some people STILL refuse to watch SSM because "it looks kiddie". They can be dumb like that.

I dont think mr toad is a dark villain, he existed for like two issues before dying
They probably put him in the show so professor pyg could have a "funny" sidekick
@TenEyedMen: No no no, you don't get to make a claim like that and ask me to go looking for your evidence. Either you provide evidence that the majority of people were against YJ and Spectular Spiderman or just admit you're making shit up. A few people aren't the entirety of the public and not even a good enough sample to extrapolate information on the public's mood on such things.
WTF?! This looks like garbage like the new 52.
In my opinion, I honestly dont think it will be on for more then one season.
the more they say they want to "clean up " the DCuniverse the more they muddy it up...
You know, I remember when Katana was a samurai. Also, can't say as I like this version of Alfred so far. "Pulse rifle" is his weapon of choice? Uhh...yeah. I mean, can't we just have Dini and Timm make a sequel to TAS or something?? And another thing: How did this get a green light and Gotham High got scrapped? GH would make a way more interesting show..it was going to be for Batman what X-Men: Evolution was to the X-Men if you get right down to it...
This Batman universe is completely foreign to me and it's just plain whitewashing. not worth watching.
I'm really not that excited about this show, but DAMN Alfred looks awesome. It looks like he can kick ass more seriously than batman can.
Alfred and Katana look great! She looks much older than how she looks on the other picture of her that's been floating around for Beware the Batman.
Jeez, they didn't say that the more relevant villains like Joker and Two-Face aren't gonna appear at all, it was the same thing with The Brave and The Bold, they said that Batman wasn't gonna team up with the most likely options like Superman and Wonder Woman, but they appeared later on into the show, they were just saying that the main focus wasn't gonna be on them.
And i'm looking foward to the show, only thing that i'm concerned about is what's the show direction, from the start of almost every Batman show they knew at what they were aiming at, TAS wanted to be a more serious interpretation of the character, Beyond wanted to be a respectable futuristic adaptation of a character while still being an honest continuation, BATB wanted to be an homage to the Silver Age, but i don't know what they're going for with this, i've read that they want a more "Detective" Batman than before, but until i reed any info on the storyline or see a little promo of sorts i can't expect that much, and this is a big deal being that for me having no direction what was made The Batman such a fail.
