ALL I WANT IS A DECEANT SHOW!!!
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Character Bios And Designs For 'Beware The Batman' Revealed
oh come on! seriously, professor pyg?mr toad? Are they joking? I remember them in grant morrison's run and they were soooooo lame. All Professor pyg does is stick pig faces on people and control them like zombies and that's it and Mr toad, he only lasted two issues before getting killed off. Besides there are better villains that need to be put on screen like hush for example or black spider, firefly, lady shiva, black mask, great white shark or even deadshot.
I liked it, until i found out there not going to be using Batmans traditional rouges gallery.
Im still kinda interested to see how this series turns out.
I never got why some many people hated Batman The Brave and The Bold, it was one of the best Batman TV shows ever. If you ask me it was much better then The Batman. I mean ill give this show a chance, beacuse who knows it might actually be good or be a complete and epic failure.
Character designs look oddly deformed but I'd like to see them in motion.
Some bold choices going with some of Morrison's new creations as antagonists. I'll be curious to see how this goes.
I enjoy some change every so often. It's cool to see it will feature some second tier villains but Alfred as a guntotting secret agent. Please. The only reason he's even Alfred is to find a way to justify him being there. I mean the guy has the face of that British thug from Uncharted 3 that's pounding your face against a urinal
Am I the only one who thinks it's wrong Dick isn't included in here somewhere? We haven't even heard mention of Nightwing/Dickbats. These are his rogues not Bruce's..
Alfred doesn't look like alfred. This show truly doesnt look that promising, should have provided much "ok" villains than those two.

I remember thinking Green Lantern was going to suck but in the end I love the show so yeas I will give this show a shot.
I had the same things going into GL too...but I've got more reservations about this (but yes, I'll give it a chance). I don't want to undercut my liking of GL, but I think part of the reasoning has to be simply because I want to watch comic-toons and there's simply not as many as there was in the 90s & early 00's, so I've got to take what I can get. (In general though, I'd always prefer drawn-animated as opposed to CGI).
@SmoothJammin: Especially since I like to think of Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad as Dick Grayson villains.

(not to go off topics, buuuut...) I've only scene partial episodes of B:TB&TB, but I've actually heard that many people loved it. I've just gotten into The Batman (well, almost done, but relative to when it came out), and I actually really enjoy it. The thing is, TB&TB seems very kiddy to me. (I've heard it compared to the orig. Adam West portrayal, that it's more goofy). That is, I don't think I'd enjoy it. If it were superman or someone else, I might be more on board, but I don't want Batman being "fun". I want him more dark/serious.
At first I thought this would be a decent show with just bad animation...Now i think this show is going to be bad all around..
But of course im going to give it at least a chance to prove me wrong like green lantern did :)
and speaking of that DC please bring back Green Lantern!
Is Alfred really Alfred without his mustache? I mean sure Nolan's Alfred didn't have one, but that was Michael Caine. What's this guy's excuse?
ehhhhhhh....
Big no on Katana and Alfred's gun.
I just don't understand what the rationale behind using Tatsu over the dozens of other characters that are actually associated with Batman could possibly be. If they wanted a female character? You've got Batgirls, Batwomen, Huntresses, and CATWOMAN. If they wanted an asian female character? Cassandra Cain aka Batgirl/Black Bat.
Katana's only real tie to Batman is the Outsiders, a team which frankly isn't that cool.
Edit: I am interested in New villains though! But again I don't love the animation style but it's different which is fine. But let's honestly ask ourselves:
Do we need another Batman Cartoon?
I cannot wait to see the new show. I want to see the Cricus of the Strange, Humpty Dumpty, and Tobias Whale.
Actually, Metamorpho has appeared on the small screen. I remember his last appearance, he was part of the Outsiders with Katana and a young Black Lightning.
And Katana was a prepubescent-teenage girl there, now it looks like she's clearly going to be Batman's (rival turned) love interest.
Wonder how that discussion meeting went.
edit: I guess theyre going with New52 Katana.
Man I wish people would just attempt to make a 90s style Batman again. Not in love with his anime-Ears or Alfred... :(
edit: prefered weapon: pulse rifle (??? is he going to be doing ride-alongs with Batman? Is he going to wear a mask to protect his identity? Why does he need a pulse weapon.
All that being said, it's Batman theres a good chance this incarnation will be good. But it really seems goofy/flashy than Dark/high concept art :(
---From Metamorpho's page.
Animation
The DCAU
Metamorpho appears in the two-part Justice League episode "Metamorphosis". These episodes re-imagine his origin, which is ascribed to mutagenic gas that he was exposed to by Simon Stagg. He later makes non-speaking cameo appearances in the Justice League Unlimited episodes "Initiation", "Clash", "Panic in the Sky", and "Destroyer". He is voiced by Tom Sizemore.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold Metamorpho appears alongside other members of the Outsiders in the episode "Enter the Outsiders!" He is a teenager in this appearance, and portrayed as a lighthearted character. He later appears in the episodes "Duel of the Double Crossers!" and "Inside the Outsiders!", the latter of which deals with his emotional turmoil and anger over his appearance. An older version of Metamorpho appears alongside the other Outsiders in the opening to the episode "Requiem for a Scarlet Speedster!" He is voiced by Scott Menville.
Beware the Batman
Metamorpho is set to appear in this upcoming television series.Film
Justice League: The New Frontier
Metamorpho makes a brief non-speaking cameo appearance at the end of this film.

Whale shows up in the mini-comic of this magazine.
As for those dismissing the show:
Remember when we thought Green Lantern was going to be bad?
Remember when we thought Young Justice was going to be bad?
Remember when we thought The Spectacular Spider-Man was going to be bad?
Remember when we thought TMNT 2012 was going to be bad?
Seeing the pattern?

Animation reminds me of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, which is terrible. I'll probably try it but really cartoony CG is tough to watch.

I LOVE YOU...and it also shows how retarded comic fans are and are so quick to judge.Yet they pretend to be deep into the characters.Maybe if they were 10% more supportive...
So this looks like shit. I'm curious if they're trying to cancel young justice to avoid comparisons.

GL isn't that great of a show.
Why in the halibut does Alfred look like Dan Turpin?! And I'm sorry, but that Mr. Toad just reminds me too much of the Mr. Toad from Wind in the Willows.
At first I hated the idea of this, but now that I see better detailed character designs, I'm feeling better about this show. Alfred is the only one I'm gonna have trouble adjusting to. Also, will they explain why Robin's missing? And I'm curious as to how they'll handle Professor Pyg because he's a pretty dark dude.
Also metamorpho has been in the DCAU and In Brave and the Bold.

I'm not sure about the art style, I don't like how Batman looks.
Yeah saaaame I'm not feeling the artstyle. If anything, I kinda wish they went back to "The Batman" animated series. That was pretty cool at least (i.m.o.)

I'm talking about public reception. Believe it or not, people were actually whining and calling Spectacular crap ONLY because of its designs, or were criticizing Young Justice because it wasn't like the original comic books.
Judging things before they come out is incredibly stupid, and it's a lesson fanboys will never learn.

To be fair, the producers of the show basically described their Pyg and Toad as the "evil, twisted" versions of characters from Wind in the Willows.
