Following on from my last request which asked for decent Batman comics, what do people think is the best current Batman comic series? Year one seems to rate well, should I try that? I have bought Injustice Gods Among Us issue 6 today, which includes Batman and I must say I quite like it. Thanks.

Scott Snyder's Batman is the best Batman book out now, but it's starting to get annoying for me. The last two arcs were egregiously "meh", and Scott is going to have to do something pretty great if he intends to entertain with Zero Year, even though we all know Batman's origins.

It's funny (not ha ha funny) that at the start of the New 52 everybody thought Snyders Batman was the best thing since sliced bred now slowly but surely Detective seems to be creeping ahead of it in terms of most peoples opinions

Batman and Robin was better than Batman for most of the run so far. Court of Owls and Death of the Family were huge disappointments.

Zero Year seems interesting so far, and Detective Comics has started improving a lot.

Overall, I've probably enjoyed Batman & Robin the most.

Batman Incorporated, Batman, and Detective Comics. Inc uses great batman characters and has a serious story that will want you wanting to know more.

I am surprised by all the 'Tec responses. Layman has been decent, but I haven't found him to be that spectacular. Rather heavy handed on the script and brought in a lot of needless references to other books. I was also pretty sick of Penguin stories though when I read him, so that might have affected my opinion. Fabok's art is gorgeous though.

I think the best two Batman comics are Batman and Batman & Robin. They generally duke it out, and it will vary from month to month which title rises to the top.

Right, Batman. Is this Batman "Dark Knight", rather than "Batman zero year?" Ive been flicking through the "new comics" link and couldn't find one simply titled "Batman". There were "batman, incorp", "Batman, 'lil Gotham", "Batman and Robin", "Batman zero year".
