@knightsofdarkness2: Year one!

I loved Hush as an introduction. It just used so many great characters and was such a fun ride.

My only real issue with the list is Death of the Family. It had such potential to become a truly scary story, but it fell so flat by the end that it was actually the reason I stopped following N52 Batman. The first time you get to see Joker in the GCPD, though, is just epic.

I'm new to Batman so far I've read Year one, Man who Laughs, and the killing joke. I'm reading Dark knight Returns as of now. Nice list!

I'm thinking of getting into the Batman comics. Is this a good list to start with or what else should I read to get caught up with everything. I havent read anything since Knightfall

@knightsofdarkness2 : It's a bit late but I would say Hush, because you meet every main foes and friends of batman in a long story with lots of twists. You will learn almost all main events concerning them and the Batman.

As for the article, I think the list is bad, too much Grant Morisson and Scott Snyder. And for essentials it should only include good stories with main events. So it's missing :

• Batgirl year one
• No man's land
• Identity Crisis
