Why is batman your favorite super hero?

For me he is an idol. everyone at one stage has wanted to be like batman. His gadgets are awesome and he has women begging at his knee's.

people say bruce and batman and two different people but they are allot more closer than everyone makes out to be.

I wanted to be Spiderman.....then i forced a Spider to bite....and i died.... :P

Seriously now,not every child who admires a superhero, want to be like him.....i think....i personally wanted to be like Spiderman or Batman,as a child....

He's not my favorite overall, but he's definitely top 3.

he's top 5 for me. i wanted to be spider-man since i was a kid. spider-man tas the 90's series did it for me.

When I was younger I said my favorite superhero was Tigger (you know from Winnie the Pooh). I am different I guess...

@wildvine: @gats_botl: for what I believe was 4 Halloweens I was Tigger. I wore these cute tigger pjs (which we had to replace twice...). He was my ffavorite superhero and, admittedly, still is (though Nightwing and Flash are on up there now...)

I like batman, but he's not my favorite.

I like batman, but he's not my favorite.

From that "universe" Eyeyore is my fav.

He wasn't and still isn't.

I am a huge fanboy, yes. I like underdogs, and I admire that he is a normal guy who goes up against superpowered people and wins or at least holds his own. I'm not a fan of overpowered characters, and I like to see intricate, awesome battle scenes. He also works in detective play, which sort of sets him apart. He's also dark, which I like a little of, and he's a badass. I like badasses.

Most of this also applies to Spider-Man.

i love batman but hes number 2 supes takes the number 1 spot.

Meh I like Batman I never wanted to BE Batman, but I can see why some people do.

I, at one point believed that Batman is my favorite superhero, and I did want to be him when I was younger. I don't think of him the same way any more though. As I actually started to read comics, I've developed more favorites who I'd rank above Batman. He's still great, but Booster Gold is now my all time favorite superhero.

My all time favorite is Dick Grayson (Nightwing) I want to be like him. In a way it's all the cool stuff that comes with being Bruce with none of the baggage. So in a way lol I guess I do wanna be like Batman...Dick Grayson's Batman.
