Costumed as a bat to prey on criminals' fear and utilizing a high-tech arsenal in his crusade to rid Gotham City of crime, the legendary Batman was born.

Well, for quite a while Batman DID use guns. It was basically just retconned out…and First Wave is an alternate reality.

He didn't actually use a gun in year two, though awful cover. And he didn't use guns for a while, he used guns for a year, his first year, and realized he was a better character without guns. and for a 74 year old character, thats barely anything, let alone a while. I like to forget those times.

And first wave is not cannon

@SandMan_: lol they both quite at the same time cause it was an editorial decision. And it wasn't GA Bats or Supes, it was original, golden age lasted far longer than a year
