Batman should have noticed that tracking device on the hellbat armor without lex having to tell him or at the very least anticipated that they would do something like that
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23627 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Batman should have noticed....
@i_dont_like_comics: he did notice, he just didn't believe in them.
He should've, but what are ya gonna do. That's plot for ya.
Not really a big problem luckily.

yep I think so too. it's the panel after he connects the device
@hauntedgraveyard: yup. I jist went back ocer it. He says cyborg placed this tracker. As in singular. Bur id you look at his other hand he has a different typebof devixe inbhisbhand that hes placing on the lower back od the armor.
Yeah he should've, but it doesn't matter that much. They can't just fly to Apokolips anyway.

I just feel like they keep taking subtle jabs at the character. 1st it's johns with Justice League, now it's this. I do enjoy this book more than Batman though. I kinda ditched 'Tec comics during the icarus arc and the art in the "Batman" title I'm not a big fan of.
@hauntedgraveyard: If Tomasi is taking subtle jabsjabs at batman in robin rises I haven't noticed it. I think this was just a one time thing. He's nowhere near as bad as Johns.
I also thought the Icarus arc was overrated. Little story, only one or two real detective parts, and there's no thought bubbles for what's going on in Batman's mind.

Which was more idiotic.

Read Detective comics, its good.
@rustyroy: IIRC he investigated them when he was a child, and never went back to it after that before they tried to kill him. You can hardly expect a child to figure them out.

But I expected Bruce to carry out the investigation after he was old enough, Snyder's Batman is arrogant, he's done the same during DotF for no good reason.
@rustyroy: After looking into it as a kid and deciding they weren't real he never felt the need to go back to it because he had already made up his mind.
I do agree Snyder's batman is arrogant. Even though all of it, besides zero year, takes place after Damian is already around and everything sometimes when I'm reading some of his stuff I feel like it took place earlier in Batmans career because of how he acts.

I think he should'v looked into it more when he was older, he's one of the smartest on Earth, he preps against worst things, for someone like Batman to leave a case based on a failed attempt as a child sounds foolish, if he said that he didn't have the time to look into it later then it would've been more believable.
