I'm just curious. I am only asking those who would answer "Batman" if they are asked who is their favorite superhero of all time.
So who is your favorite Marvel Comics character?
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.

Either Spiderman, Deadpool, or Captain Britain. I mean Marvel has so many characters with great/awesome powers, but awesome characters that are written well, and have a good back story. That's what is most important to me.
I'm not a Bats fan (although I friggin love Night of Owls), so look at my avatar, look at my name, and go "no sh!t, Sherlock!"

Spiderman. I want to read his comics but there's so much history behind him it's kind of intimidating when trying to figure out where to start.
Kaine, Moon Knight, Daredevil, Hulk (although I haven't read many of Hulk's comics), etc.
Same, I'm a big Hulk fan too but I have read only 4-5 Hulk comics and two of them had him fighting Wolverine, although I was big fan of the animated series and loved Incredible Hulk movie, I even liked the first movie and he was the best part in Avengers.
All time favorite characters: Spider-man, Wolverine, and Captain America.
My favorite comic run though is the Bendis/Brubaker Daredevil run.
Best Marvel Now character: Cyclops with no competition.
Daredevil, the Fantastic Four, Elektra, Silver Surfer, Deadpool, Groot, Antman, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Kingpin, and Dr. Doom.
@humanrocket: Do you have any Nova stories that you would recommend? I never heard of him until the new Marvel Legends figure was released. I heard he's like Green Lantern, who I like, but if it has more intimate stories that focus on the main character, rather than his corps, that would be great!
Deadpool.
I dont like Mavel Batman Clones, i find them annoying.
Well i love Daredevil, but i dont think he is a Batman clone.

Well, the only thing that Nova has is common with GL is that they're both comic guardians. And that's where the similarities end. You can start all way in the beginning with A Man called Nova. It's Rich's early days as Nova. Think about it as Spider-Man when he first got bitten by the Spider. There's also New Warriors Vol 1, Richard's first hero team. Those are the two recommendation I would give if you wanted to start from the early days. BUT essentials I would recommend if you want the more mature, power house, and protector of the galaxy Nova, then I would suggest to follow this order.
1. Annihilation #1 followed by all four issues of Annihilation Nova book and then finishing with the other issues of Annihilation #2-6. This is when Nova takes the step from being a B list to an A list hero. You see him take the burden of being the last Nova crops member, having to become a warrior in a time of a great war, and leading the universe in it's final act to stop the Annihilation Wave.
2. Nova Vol 4 #1-36: This is Nova's ongoing that he got after Annihilation. You will see Nova travel back to Earth after the events of Civil War, you will see him take on the Phlanax virus (I would recommend to pick up the mini event Annihilation Conquest ties in with issues from Nova Vol 4 and is a great read, contains great characters such as Adam Warlock and Pahll-vell/Quasar), you will also see him try to stop the Skrull Invasion, trying to rebuild the Nova Corps, lose his power, become Quasar the new protector of the Galaxy, regain his power, aid in war between the Kree and Shi'Ar, travel to alternate dimension to stop his long time enemy The Spinx and finally prepare himself for the Cancerverse.
3. The Thanos Imparative#1-6: This is it, the Annihilation War, The Phalanx War, the Kree Shi'ar war, all of these experiences have prepared Nova for the fight of his life. Thanos, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Evil versions of all the heroes from our universe are trying to destroy our universe but Nova and the Guardians and THANOS try to stop it. Read Nova's last heroic act before reading GOTG 18
4. Nova also appeared in first four issues of Secret Avengers vol 1. Not needed, but it's an okay read.
Nova only has 100 issues under his belt, but you will not be disappointed. Hope this helped I tried writing it with the best description of every arc as best as I could.I hope you become part of the Nova Corps *salutes* :D
@humanrocket: Thank you so much for the recommendations! I really appreciate all the time you took to write that up! I'm actually glad that's only 100 issues, since it won't be too overwhelming. I think I'll start with your essential list, and then work my way back to the origin. Looks like I'm going to be busy for awhile!
@mrtummytumms: just jump in.
Hulk, Gambit, Cyclops, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, Apocalypse, and Wolverine (the X-Man, not the Avenger).
Star-Lord, Spiderman, Captain America, Quicksilver
But you're not a Batman fan. You only like Jason...
