My Idea for Batman after Endgame:

So Bruce doesn't die but goes into a coma. Alfred makes the tough choice to get in contact with none other than Ted Grant A.K.A WildCat. This is a perfect way introduce him into this normal DC universe and not Earth 2. In this he is around 37 had been Wildcat before Bruce was Batman. Currently he is retired and owns a local bar/kickboxing dojo. Alfred convinces him that Gotham need someone experienced and the current Bat family could learn a thing or two from him. This story as Batman can be a bit more intense and Dark from the normal, like how daredevil is for Marvel universe. Its a Fresh start at Batman and giving the mantle to someone outside the Bat-Family.

I'll take Snyder's word that things will change, but I don't think it's the level of change of "Joker is the devil" or "Batman will be gone for a while." Firstly, I think Snyder understands the character more than enough to not make him the devil or whatever. Secondly, Morrison already did his take on Batman being gone for a while. It'd be incredibly stupid for Snyder to do that as well. Let's not have a "one Batman being gone arc" per decade.

Has anyone else seen the Batsuit pic Snyder released?

It could be the "new villain" Snyder was talking about, but considering the covers that have been released I would say it's very unlikely. I highly doubt it's Bruce though...
